We are going back to the roots of the channel and taking a scenic Spitfire flight in live weather in Microsoft Flight Simulator from Turin in Italy, down through the mountains to Nice on the south coast of France.

Excellent , just excellent! Please don't stop making these videos, don't change your style, in fact don't do anything different. You're one of my few favourites and I always coming along for the ride with you. As a Vampire pilot long ago (I'm 95 now) we did very tight curved approaches. First, dive down along the runway, then pull up sharply while turning onto downwind, put wheels down (or almost up if you were nearly upside down). The final was so tight that we nearly always almost landed on one wheel. And I lived to tell the tale.

@@jayteeaitch lol yes I know the warbirds have been lacking on the channel recently mate! No interest in the seafire to be honest. If someone had said ‘this is an incredibly realistic A2A quality aircraft’ I would be over there with my tot of rum and a few months supply of tobacco.

Thanks for this video. I enjoy flying the Spit and the Lightning in the military category along with the Comanche and 206 on the GA side. The DC-3 and C-46 for transports. The Alps are a blast to fly in.

At the moment, I'm flying the FU4 Corsair. It's always been my favorite warbird.

@@johnrawlings3657 well at least you know not to watch any more of my videos so something positive came from you having to sit through it but I should explain why perhaps since you felt compelled to leave a comment. I find whenever I leave AI traffic on and I am making a video that while I am doing the shots on the ground, which take time, I usually end up with an AI bonanza spinning on the spot somewhere. That really is 🥱. The reason I don’t have multiplayer traffic on in this video is because both are busy airports and, rather than waste viewers time trying to fit in with traffic, or end up with a Darkstar flying straight towards me on approach, I left it off as that too is 🥱

Love your content mate. I'm curious if you have the latest UK and Ireland update? It's generally very good but my Dover Castle is still autogen in spite of it clearly being modeled in the preview trailer. Also, there seems to be a patch intended for the Royal Albert Hall but there is bugger all there. That's a glaring omission for London. I'm using an excellent freeware version of HMS Belfast which is also strangely absent. There other issues with Thames and some terrain mesh issues. Any thoughts? Cheers.

Many thanks for watching! I have got it but must admit I’ve not explored it a huge amount. Most of my UK flying has been around Duxford and up in the Highlands. That is strange about Dover Castle. I will have to check it out. Only thing that springs to mind is clearing any cache you might have.

There is a mod to fix the Thames through London that looks to correct the river banks. I also noticed the Cathedral in Ely is still facing the wrong way. But all in all the world update for the UK is real winner.
