Brilliant, but scary in the event of failure. Love that handicap chair designers are finally starting to think of the most serious problems the handciapped have though. It's about time!
I really like this wheel chair , last year my three kids have bad car accident my one daughter passed away and two other disabled, one is amputated both legs and spine fractures , she is willing to travel every without depending on someone , I wish I could provide her this fantastic chair as soon as possible.
Thank you for your innovation and contribution to the wallfare of challenged people, I really hope you get quick funding from smarts investors and this becomes a reality ten years from now!
I’m having some health issues with my joints, but we had a family trip planned for New York City. This ru-vid.comUgkxuxJwamLFanm476LC5WPeTouyyU1GXomC was perfect! It’s lightweight enough that my friend could carry it up or down stairs when we needed to. (I can walk very short distances) It was comfortable for me to sit in, I would say if you’re super tall it might be a little cramped. I’m 5’1” and the foot rests were the perfect height. This may not be the best one for long term use, you get what you pay for, but for something that fits our budget that gives me accessibility while we deal with my health this was amazing.
Nice how the advertisement archives to create the feeling of independence by showing a bicycle and a train . Now the question is: Can you go downstairs as well?!
I am slightly concerned that this excellent innovation may only be for a limited number of wheelchair users, I note that the user here is leaning forward the entire time-not many wheelchair users are capable of this. Apart from that, it is a great invention and I congratulate all who contributed to its realisation.
And the biggest lie to show a pretty girl come to you and start a friendship. In real life 99% of girls treat wheelchair riders as a decease or someone they smile to as a pity then get away from.
...Wow you're real fucked up. No mate, if you're a creep then girls will treat you like that, but I've never had a problem with women and I've been in a chair my whole life
Hesam0000 That observation is most unfortunate. It puts every girl in very bad light which is most untrue. I have mobility issues but no one excludes me from anything. Rather everyone feels fulfilled and happy if they are able to help me in any way.
People who have certain forms of cerebral palsy have contractions of the muscles in their face which makes it look like they are smiling even when they are not.
A problem with this design is that the base and the seat are very integrated, but the two are wholly separate concepts. A huge amount of design and customisation goes into the seat of a wheelchair, separate from the base it moves on. The two are separate concerns and the design should reflect that. (Yes being in a wheelchair in and of itself has a spectrum of mobility, not everyone can just sit in whatever passes for a chair and be ok with it.) An obvious example in this case - where the hell would you stick a lateral support? An advantage of separating these two concepts is that it opens up even further innovation. For example the base of my chair has a scissor lift for extra height (And I can still drive while the chair is at eye level), a tilt for changing position (crucial when you're spending 16 - 20 hours sitting on your arse), and a recline for the backrest. Plus during repairs the entire seat can be flipped away from the base to access the battery and computer. Scewo seems to have designed away the opportunity for these important features in exchange for a "pretty" armrest/backrest design.
I would love to help in the project, I am a user of chairs and I think there is also something for the crane type transfer for people who can not be changed due to lack of strength in their arms
@@scewo_official Hello, I am an electrical engineer from San Diego who helped with the Spinergy ZX1. My wife is a full time wheelchair user. Is there any chance that my wife in the USA can test one someday?
@@pilotavery Hi there! Unfortunately, Scewo Bro is not available in the US yet. But make sure to already register your interest on www.scewo.ch/en/preorder. We will get back to you as soon as Bro is available in your home country :-)
Hi Scewo, my daughter has a very rare syndrome called "Mowat Wilson Syndrome" and we were wondering if we could show case how people with her syndrome would use this wheel chair. Would you be willing to send a sample with a team member to make a video with us. We would love to show your product to the world for people like my daughter.
Dear Brittany, Thank you so much for reaching out to us and for your interest in our BRO. We truly appreciate your willingness to spread awareness and share our product with the world! 💙 Unfortunately, we don't think this is possible due to the potential risk of seizures as well as challenges associated with controlling the wheelchair with the joystick. However, we're incredibly grateful for your support. We wish you and your daughter all the best! Kind regards, Your Scewo Family
I read below this wheelchair costs USD30,000. If that's the case then it's basically inaccessible to 99.999% of potential users. That's exactly the same story with eye-tracking technology, used by immobile and locked-in patients no longer able to speak or communicate. The eye tracker, software and remaining hardware make it inaccessible to all but a few patients - the remaining patients simply lie there - excluded from society - waiting to die.
It’s been one year now. Are they still developing it? Isn’t it out in market to buy? By the way if people are expecting they will reply your question it’s like expecting a star ⭐️ shine in day.
Yes we are selling the BRO! If you are interested go to our website scewo.com, there you find lots of information and also the form to fill out if you want to do a test drive. 😀

Please, is anyone has an formation about this power wheelchair, because I need it, but I can't find the company, or any company make power wheelchair climbs stairs, or even can walk on the beach. Because my wheelchair always gets problem it stuck in the garden, and on the beach too. Please I will appreciate any help. Thank you
George Fares you might find the freewheel all terain a useful and v cheap option in comparison ( £350) if the garden and beach are the issue if you have a manual chair. Lifts castors off floor and gives manoeuvrable. I'm looking at getting one.
I just ordered a $4000 electric wheelchair from another company because this isn't available yet. It's still on pre-order and I needed one now. Shame...
