I dont think schank made top 8 or at least there is no footage. cedric mentioned he needed breakers to get in. i would have liked to see another match with his list. the canonist at the end is a great card for this type of deck

Aluren's player played poorly: in game 1 he should have flashbacked the therapy to discard jitte and in Game 3 he should have discarded confidant instead of an uncastable hymn.

+Giuseppe Di Vincenzo Everything in hindsight. I don't think that two mistakes over the course of a three-match series quantify his entire play as being done "poorly." Clearly, he made mistakes - but Aluren is not a forgiving deck if you don't know how to play it properly.

am i the only one who noticed Martin was cheating Dark Confidant triggers isn't a May ability he purposely skipped triggers to avoid dying

Anthony Ruelas when you miss a non-optional trigger in tournament magic, your opponent gets a choice to put that trigger on the stack. So your opponent can basically choose whether to make it happen or not. There are some exceptions to that rule, most notably chalice since putting that trigger on the stack after a spell resolved doesn't do a whole lot. That is to ensure that there is no cheating, so you can't "accidentally" miss something, your opponent can make you do it. Missing a non-optimal trigger is still not something your allowed to do on purpose.
