I grew up in Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Schaffhausen, at that time there were a few more cozy cafes and restaurants, there were 3 cinemas, many fashion shows were held in the Schwanen (Manor), there were themed weeks, such as London, where you could buy paper clothes etc, like back then only in England etc etc...very lively
This seems to be such a nice place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
I can see why Schaffhausen is such a special place for your family, both in your father’s heritage and a scene of beauty. I enjoyed the exquisite areal drone clips along with a sensed family connection to the Rhine Falls. The yellow boat excursion looked pretty fun too! My wife and I enjoyed the Rhine Falls before kids while traveling from Triberg, Germany to Lucerne.
Cool! I'm sure you really enjoyed your trip. Lucerne is a really pretty area as well. Can you believe this was the first time I took this boat to the middle of the falls? What a great experience it was for us to walk the same streets my dad would have walked while he was growing up.
Honestly if I could take me to all the beautiful Switzerland to México I would be happy; Although the truth would have pleased me to see the city at night, it would show how twice as beautiful it is ... I liked the music; luck to all.
Sometimes the cities are beautiful when all lite up at night. I'm not sure about Schaffhausen since we left at sundown. Glad you enjoyed the music selection. Sometimes it takes us forever to find the right songs.
I heard about this bombing incident from another Utube channel.. There are a lot of incidents / stuff ups that happen in wars that never get reported at the time.. They only come out years later to the general public.. Of course the locals and the people connected to them know what happened.. Oh and the House at 3:30 was an artistic overload lol never seen such an effort put into a building before..
Here's a fact I hope you girls know, that just occurred to me just now. You ladies are going to be so well prepared to be World leaders, if you so wish and life takes you that way.
I lived in Switzerland for 23 years. Once my suitcase zipper broke and I found a man in Kriens who could fix it. He was from Schaffhausen and during the bombing by the Americans you mentioned, he was a Swiss child casualty and lost a leg. I still remember him telling me the story. I miss Switzerland terribly.
Wow! What a crazy story that you actually met a man who suffered from this. I'm sure you have so many fond memories of your time in Switzerland. It's a beautiful country to live in.
I have recently visited Rhine Falls in Switzerland again and this time with my drone. Have a look at the drone video I have created and published on my channel and enjoy. I really like the beauty of Swiss nature.
Have been there! Watching it brings a lot of good memories!!! Is Stein am Rhein considered part of Schaffhausen, because it was bombed as well during WWII, if not, then the USA has bombed two towns during WWII not only one.
Hello there; As a suggestion consider investing some money into a flying drone. Drones are very inexpensive nowadays and can take your videos to a whole new level and experience. Thank you! Fernando
