I'm shocked by it. I had a goal to reach 228 shares before ex-div. Aiming for $150 in div this quarter. I fell short and only had 221 shares before 6/26. Unexpectedly though surpassed my goal of $150!!. I'm happy. I'll use that extra cash to drip.

It’s a good idea to look for a fiduciary who has a legal obligation to work in your best interest and can’t recommend products or services just because they’ll receive a financial kickback for doing so. Search around you, I work with one in NYC.

I am just confused atm, should I move all investment accounts to a single investment account and if so, how do I do this and will it have any tax impact that I might want to avoid? I also plan to sell my property which may give me an additional $200K in cash once it is sold. Is it a good idea to consolidate all assets to a single investment account or should I invest them into different vehicles?

This was my first quarter owning SCHD so I was very pleased to see the .82 payout this morning. I'm at 775 shares and will continue to add each week. Viktoria Media was just sounding the alarm yesterday for everyone to dump SCHD, I'm going to stop watching her as her advice is all over the place.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. Could be part of it. The payout did include supplemental dividends but I calculated the payout myself and was expecting .7765 which still would have the highest payout ever.
