I actually prefer the volume knob where it is, I like getting to the volume knob quickly this way than the set up on my Strat. I think I’ve learned how to avoid the volume knob over time.
I just got this guitar and she's a beauty but to your point I agree it has a lot of mid range/hight end. I have to tame that tone, thinking about changing the pups?
Excellent video! And yup you nailed it I’m shopping for one rn and I want the 7 string version with a Floyd, however I know I’m gonna rip out the Sustainiac and put in Nazgul/ sentient set. It really is a shame they don’t offer this guitar with more colors, styles and your choice of pickups not feeling bound to use their sustainiac . ( a 7 string V and Les Paul would also nbe nice additions to the Appocalypse line)
Got the purple version and went hard changing the bridge to a goth Floyd with a tremmory and tremel-no, that and locking tuners with knurled buttons. Guitars perfect but tbh shocked that it clearly needs a fret dress for a £1500 guitar and doesn't come with locking tuners that you can buy now days for £25. Buzzing around 10th fret and sharp edges. Apart from that it's my dream guitar. That and I guess it could have coil tap and a slightly thinner neck like the schecter sls elite. You can do some wild shit with the Sustainiac and floyd
