Hi Jon! I have just watched all of your Schecter Videos. I'm being serious. 😅 This Schecter is right up my alley. Love it. I'm going to buy an exotic definitely. Since I don't have a Schecter this is the best reason to finally buy a Schecter. Thank you so much. ☺️
Great playing and very good video. I just ordered the same model after seeing your demo one month ago. I agree with you, it's a fantastic guitar and I love it. Vibrato, pickups, neck ... everything's perfect. Greetings from France.
You are such an awesome guitar player and I am totally in love with this instrument. I'm an old guy that never took my guitar level above intermediate playing but this video certainly gives me hope. Thank you so much. Keep rockin' -Jay
@@JonIsJustTooLoud I have watched more of your videos and have now subscribed to your channel. You are really personable, provide interesting information and just play fantastic guitar. I suppose you could also sell me a 50€ guitar as pure gold.
I bought this guitar when it first came out! It is such a great guitar i haven’t had to tweak it once in over a year really a fine instrument I get tons of compliments on it,but yes it is a little heavy small issue💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Schecter is pumping out some really classy and functional guitars. My Nick Johnston strat has turned into my main player over the last year. I'm a fan, great review!
I have one and I love it. Beautiful and fantastic playability. The USA made Schecter pickups are so good. Exceeded my expectations. Of course Jon makes her sing. Each one is unique, which I also love. Get one!
Even the guitar built in South Korea get there final assembly in Texas and many of there pickups are actually wound at the factory, like their humbuckers are actually wound and assembled at schecter, I have one that was built in California and one in south Korea, love them both.
@@JonIsJustTooLoud I've never thanked a RU-vidr before, but I loved this demo and your playing so much. Thinking of buying this guitar seriously now due to your presentation. A+++
I'm thinking about getting this guitar . Schecter has improved so much over the years. Real roadworthy instrument. Love your playing you really show a variety of tones . I have the Van Nye's t style and it's become my main gigging axe over my PRS . It's just a little more versatile.
Well, I bought it Jon. Lol. Tried it this last week. It isn't going back! I got the one with the Zircote top. The Sunset pickup and the Pasadena are a GREAT combo! Wow, there's 5 totally different sounds at the flick of a switch. I really love it. Great review. And the Floyd Rose 1500 is AMAZING. Stays in tune the whole time I am recording riffs! Thanks Jon! Great review.
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Now I know why you like those pickups so much. I might do what you did, and put a Pasadena Humbucker in my Nick Johnston Traditional HSS! Yours sounds amazing.
Go to their website. They have something for everyone. They are spec'd out to the hilt. I have 7 now, yeah I know I might have a problem. Wait, one for each day of the week. Perfect!
Nice review. I might pick one up, but I really want a birdseye maple neck. If this guitar had one, I would buy it tomorrow. I know it would look a bit weird, but I promised myself a Strat-type guitar with a birdseye maple neck...they seem very hard to find now.
This video is killing me. For the longest time I was deciding between this exact guitar and the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 in lime green metallic. Well, I went with the Charvel and had no regrets… until this demo. Looks like I’ll be posting a new Reverb listing this week.
Just got the hardtail version - so far it is very nice. Big fan of the Schecter thin c neck very comfortable. The pickups surprised me as they compare favourably to Suhr and Bareknuckle
Jon, you had me dreaming about this guitar since you put out this video. So much so, that after about a day and a half, I gave into the temptation and just bought it. I guess I should thank you ahahaha 😅 Greetings from California!
Awesome intro as always Jon! Another nice guitar from Schecter. The tones are good, and the price appears to be reasonable for what you get. I think I would prefer a VegaTrem though!
Schecter just has it figured out. It was clear that this guitar inspired your playing. When you started to shred, I could tell you had to rein yourself in to avoid exploding!
I love the way you demo/review guitars! It's nice to hear a guitar in a different light other than "metal"....So, you said the frets are extra jumbo but on the description you put on the video, it says they are extra jumbo stainless steel. My question is, are the stainless or not? For the price I hope they're stainless. Lol Much respect to you and your channel. 🤘✌️
I own the previous version of this tool. I want to note the changes in the design. The pickup switch has been replaced with a lever switch like the fender. There was a toggle switch on the old one, and when playing funk, the right hand often involuntarily switched the pickups from the neck to the bridge. I hope there won't be such a problem in this version!
I really wanted to buy one of these but I saw a couple of SVSS models (non-Exotic) where the the bridge post studs cracked the wood and blew into the pickup cavity. Maybe not a problem for most people but it sketched me out so I ordered the hard tail version instead.
Great video as usual! If only Schecter could get their logo people to use the more refined logo for this type of guitar. Why the gothic, not the far more fitting scripted one? It's a dealbreaker for many, I'm sure.
I 1000% agree. I love Schecters, have owned three (so far). Eying this one, but hate the logo. Not only is it not my thing, it’s inset METAL. Would much prefer the script-y Diamond series one (or the block US one). It’s really the only thing giving me pause about this otherwise stellar model.
Hi Jon! Great review as always. Would be great if you could include some strums, chops and crunch tones in your demo. Especially with guitars like these. Big thanks!
Curious about your opinion on something. I really don’t ever play hard core metal music but I very much love the shred metal guitars. For me they are very comfortable and ergonomic. I feel like a person can grab a shred machine, sit down and just play some nice relaxing blues based classic rock (a lot like you’re playing in this video). Do enjoy playing the ‘shred’ style guitars for non-metal music as well?
hey man, had to chime in - ive played fenders for about 20 years, but these guitars blow them away. i swapped out 2 strats, for this schecter, and a nick johnston. they play blues and funk beautifully.....the clean sounds are incredible.
I am trying to imagine what this Schecter would look like in Black Cherry. At the moment it looks unfinished to me, and made from an old piece of furnture. Thanks for the demo Jonathan, but not to too my tastes, there are far better looking Schecters to chose from.
Bonjour Jon Yann from France Nice vidéo !! I play in Big Band and WE play standard and more moderne song ! Do you know if this guitar good for that ? Tone and volume control are progressive ?? Thanks a lot Merci beaucoup
