Hui Hui, is her step sister and her father left her mother and her for the step mother the witch who stole her mother's design. So the FL already has problems with her, so for him to always protect her step sister doesn't help his relationship with the FL. What gets me if he is in love with the FL then why is he constantly catering to the step sister she points it out to him to how he always takes her side. He told the FL they were going to act like their in a fake relationship for business purposes and he knows she's not happy with it all. Look how she treats her in front of the press. Though he does go to the bar and pays no attention to her which pisses her off and she leaves it's not enough.
He should've been stepped forward to help her, it took the crowd commenting...but he loves her...righttttt. How hard is it to put HuiHui in her place when she's wrong. It doesn't need to be done rudely but should be done. He treats HuiHui too well and doesn't always check her when he should. And HuiHui got confused, they're fake dating, that was said up front.
Snort! I honestly don't know how Jie takes his inability to protect her and not keeping promises. It doesn't take much and she's proven herself at this point what an invaluable worker she is and how hard she'll work. I would have told her to quit and get a job abroad and tell boy toy thanks for helping but she's handling this herself and she's been picked to work abroad...with Si Cheng. He dropped her name and that company is picking her for her designs and her ability to find gems. By the time he finds out about her relationship with her Auntie he can't harm her. This is just ridiculous! If Jie had seen that scene at the bar, oh she would have had a fit and been happy that Hui got hers too. She should have looked up Si Cheng for a little revenge herself...all in the name of jewelry business of course. I'm evil that way!

He still wasn't direct in telling HuiHui he wasn't interested, I give him 60/100 cuz he had to set up a scene in the bar and use some girl to drop hints before saying we're not a real couple. And HuiHui is just so damn dumb. I was like really he said when the fake dating came up he didn't think it was a good idea....buuuuut then did it anyway. GaoJie had real talent and accomplishments, she didn't need anyone to pave the way. And she'd proven herself at work, she didn't need him. I thought s he could do better than YuZhi who thought himself to be so charming. Yes if you're attractive thats nice but I can only look at you for so long, what else you bringing to the table.

Someone dependable, practical, caring, loving, and less moody. He's not bad to look at too. These poor 2nd MLs need to start getting their FLs or at least a love interest in the drama. Such a shame these great characters aren't getting their recognition and love. They need to be promoted and shown that great guys like them deserve their own sequels or at least a love interest by the end of the drama. The MLs are starting to smell like drama and a headache. I need to own stock in Tylenol for the amount I have to take to deal with their obnoxious characters.
GaoJie took a lot of crap from her relationship with Yu Zhi. Despite his sweetness when they were together in the beginning, he took her affection for him for granted. The evil sister is always putting her in a difficult situation, but Yu Zhi is more worried about his position. 😊

You WOULD THINK this would be his reasoning to work harder to keep her. Yeah right! I'm not that hard up to keep a guy that smells like drama and a migraine and I would think the same goes for Jie. That woman has got mad skills and she is a rising star. It's too bad thst the jewelry business is so damn afraid of her stepmom.
