Danke für dieses Video, es erinnert mich an meine Kindheit. Ich wuchs am Nord-Ostsee-Kanal auf, in Kiel-Suchsdorf. 1967 war ich 6 Jahre alt und saß sehr oft am Kanal, um die Schiffe zu sehen, bis ins Erwachsenenalter hinein. Damals träumte ich davon, später auch zur See zu fahren, leider blieb es ein Traum, da damals nur Männer diesen Beruf ausüben konnten. Als auch Frauen zugelassen wurden, war es für mich schon zu spät. Ich gehe auch jetzt noch gerne zum Kanal um Schiffe zu schauen, die haben sich mittlerweile aber stark verändert. Damals hauptsächlich Stückgutfrachter, heute die Containerriesen, die zwar durch ihre Größe beeindrucken, aber schöner waren die Schiffe damals.
Da schlägt das Herz eines alten shipspotters wieder hoch, angesichts dieser Aufnahmen von schönen Schiffen aus einer vergangenen Zeit, wo Schiffe noch Schiffe waren und es noch keine Mega-Boxer gab, die alle fast gleich aussehen. Danke für diese Zusammenstellung !!

Buenos recuerdos al ver estos maravillosos barcos con esas líneas tan bellas. Comencé a navegar en 1967 y lo hice en 16 barcos muy parecidos algunos de los que veo en el video. Incluso uno de ellos me emocionó verlo en uno de los videos de este canal. Gracias al señor Neidig por esta valiosa aportación que hará felices a todos y especialmente a los viejos marinos. I started sailing in 1967 and I did it in 16 boats very similar to some of the ones I see in the video. I was even excited to see one of them in one of the videos on this channel.
