A cute game about depression

While jumping through level 30 I already wished for it to wrap up, wanted to finally see how the story unfolds for the bro. At level 40 I really felt tired of this and searched for the walkthough. Kinda glad I decided to do so, as the ending is underwhelming. The game could benefit more from meaningful interactions between our shadow friend and humans. Kinda how Paulie (talking parrot movie) did.
