Riding the nice elevator at the Concordia Academy in Austin, Texas, and even though the old Concordia University is gone, the Academy Building still exists. Also, even though the bell is now high pitch, the elevator still delivers a bumpy ride, just like it was in 2008.
Specifications:
General-Schindler/Holeless Hydraulic.
Performance-2000 Lbs/20 HP.
Distance-20 feet/2 floors & 100 FPM.
Year-Installed/2000-2001.
Fixtures-Standard HT.
Cab-White suspended ceiling with fluorescent lighting, flat brown bottle-glass walls/1.5" diameter brushed stainless steel handrail, tan vinyl tile floor, brushed stainless steel fronts/car doors, & tan lobby doors/jambs.

Yes, it's plain looking, but it runs better without the loud jolt when going up.

When did they switch the bell indicator from low to high pitch?

Apparently, it's been revealed that the low pitched signal on the earlier 321A/330A fixtures were too low for ADA compliance. So therefore, the higher pitched ones are ADA compliant.

What the heck does that Mean how could Low Pitch be Non-ADA? What do you do mean?
