Stupic as fuck. Cant beat a experienced mechanic on a skip slamming in rails and fronts. Seems like they are trying to lean out labor from humans lol, that robot probably cost more than a two man team for two weeks at 6 12s.

Exactly, the labor cost isn't even the issue. The GC wants the elevators done ASAP because it can cost tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars a month to rent buckhoists, and this thing is SLOW. Plus these holes are usually drilled while a mechanic is waiting for the next rail to be hoisted up so it's not even saving time
