Schindler W58 VF-drive mod traction elevator machine 1979 

I'm quite sure you have seen this type of machine before but maybe with a different type of motor. This one was a 2-speed before modernisation.

@@joris3842 Yes the entire winch I have seen sometimes but the design of the electric motor I had never seen with this design dear to the Schindler brand. I have seen them with round motors or with angular square motors but never like in your video.

2-speed DC does not excist. This motor was 2-speed AC and modded to frequency regulated.
