One of my favorite episodes! You hit the nail on the head about the final scene. It's hilarious but also a level of vulnerability we haven't seen from David because he hasn't been comfortable enough to be vulnerable. The Stevie makeup thing was hilarious...and also relatable. 🤣 Moira definitely screwed Alexis over. But Alexis is amazing and will show what she can do. 😃
I haven't watched this show since it finished and am loving the reactions. I think everything you have ever said throughout your series is almost an exact transcript of what I said when I was watching it
My sister and I absolutely CRACKED at the "briefcase full of make up" 🤣🤣🤣As a kid i was a *notoriously* bad gift-giver, and when i was like 8 i gave my mom a briefcase full of make up!!!!! She didnt mind using the mascara, but everything else was practically NEON 🤣
the way I see it with Moira, its more that I think she is trying to protect her children from failure and rejection. like when she tried to get christmas town in when David was buying the store. I think that, while deeply flawed and misguided, her attempts are from a geniune place of wanting to protect her children. she doesn't believe that Alexis can handle it so she pitched her own idea, and then floated singles week as her own idea at first so that any blowback would land on her and not Alexis. there is a really sweet moment for Moira and Alexis coming up (involving Jocelyn too). And yes, the song was a very vulnerable moment for David, not something he would do for anyone but Patrick. Patrick gets that a lot of this "feelings" stuff is very new territory for David, and he is so kind and patient with David, never pushes him too far out of his comfort zone. Also Stevie and Johnny are one of my favourite pairs on thos show, they just have such a weird and honest chemistry, and they have a touch of like father-daughter that is so fun to see on screen. thos is the season I think where the show really takes off andvwe start seeing a lot more geniune moments. Look out for Ted too, he gets some good screen time coming up. Love these videos, keep doing them! edit: not sure if you know, but for the dance scene, both Noah and Daniel were drunk. they talk about it in interviews that they shared a bottle or two of prosseco before shooting the scene. kinda funny to think about
