Imagine an open world predator game. Visiting different worlds to hunt certain prey. You could have side missions that upgraded your weaponry. Would be absolutely unreal.
Thank you for the comments and the sub. I will soon be re-uploading a video that focuses solely on the predators from AVP so you may be interested in that one. Thanks again.
@@Chaosfoxx They are fully capable of the same range of emotions as humans. They are an enlightened and civil society. There is almost no crime on Yautja Prime compared to on earth. They just enjoy to hunt much like some humans. I'd say they treat us more fair as a prey than human hunters treat a lion or tiger. Someone standing up to a Tiger with nothing more than a swizz army knife would have my respect ;-)
It isn’t hard info to find, this channel showed info new to me and a child, I only liked Scar because I thought his mask looked cool when scratched lol I find it still looks cooler then a wounded ugly Pred face.
Scar's my favorite too and I created a clan based off of his, but a semi-aquatic clan. The Super Predators caused another clan war, causing the trio of Young Bloods to flee to Earth while their parents held off the Super Predators as instructed and died trying. They rest was enslaved. A solar flare hit their ship and crashed on Earth. The trio was reluctant with the alliance with pirates, but needed to get back to Yautja Prime. My OC ended up becoming a space pirate captain after her human best friend died, taking human fugitives with her. However, Yautja Prime wouldn't want human fugitives. But my OC was desperate to save her clan and fought the rival clan.
I've always loved the culture and society and background of the Yautja/predators. Very close to samurai or other cultures based deep in warrior sentiments here o earth. Very informative video thanks for the upload .
I always thought it was dumb that Yautja can be affected by facehuggers like it just seems like their mouths are perfect for absolutely destroying the parasite and considering a predator is strong enough to hold back full grown aliens you’d think it could just rip it off those face
That was cool !!! I enjoyed the explanation of the yautjacon !!!! A formidable foe who is the ultimate fighter and have a lot of respect for their way's in conducting the young bloods for their initiating in becoming a full blooded hunter . I especially like how the yautja conduct themselves in the hunts !!! Great job and well done in explaining the Yautjas hunting abilities in dealing with highly dangerous worthy game . This was a very well thought out compilation of the most formidable force to be reckoned with. Thank you again for your time and thoughts.
I’m planning on running a dnd game where my players are Yautja. This video will greatly help me. Thank you for taking time to make videos like this one.
Hey was just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate this video it is like the only one on RU-vid I can find that is this in depth you are awesome and I visit your channel frequently anytime I need something explained you the man
we don't even know if these things reproduce sexually. Might be some kind of eggs laid that somebody comes along and fertilizes them. That would explain why they act so backed up lol
@@robertmaybeth3434 Don't know if it's canon or not, but in artworks and Hunting Grounds game the females have breasts. That would mean they give birth to baby predators, so it would be sexually.
Predators are like my relatives, modoc and klamath warriors; savage, intelligent, innovative insightful and very adament about their perseverance and culture. I relate to the YAUTJA.
I haven't read it in years, but I have that book at 11:23 I can't wait to see what you have to say about the new Ultimate Predator. Great job on the video, Schizo!
Thanks for the comments on the video. Yes 11:23 is a good book but my personal favourite is still Prey. Its good to hear from you and I am keeping my eye out for your next upload.
The mandible jaw claws were just how James Cameron drew them when Arnold Schwarzenegger asked him to help fix the concept creature during the filming of the first cinematic Predator movie.
Who is building roads, collecting taxes, nursing babies, caring for sick, teaching school. If there are no schools how did they build spaceships and all that tech? Wouldn't the scientists who built the ships and tech be admired?
Yeah but you still had to get to the tech before you enslaved people. ever heard of a genius slave? Some one had to build the high tech world before they went to the stars and took slaves.
Well who is making the spaceships if everyone is a warrior? Who is making the food, the armor, the technology, the houses, the furniture, who is cleaning the ship?
Most are warriors but not all, for example some known as philosophers are said to do missions of the mind but it is unknown what it means and how they do it.
kinda like what they did on avatar, i want the same thing on predator homeworld..human in a tribe picked up as a baby and trained through out its life so we can really see the way of the yautja
Yautja don’t see in infrared unless they have their mask on. At least that’s what I got from the first movie when he took his mask off and saw different
Yautja are a Warrior culture and you fight to move up similar to Klingon both are into bladed weapons so i think it would be pretty cool so see a Klingon vs Yautja fight. Am i alown in this?
I really wish they would make a movie or at the very least a Netflix series or something where they really focus on there home planet , there society and culture . Like really delve in . Focus it on a young Yautja growing up on Yautja prime becoming a hunter and blooded , joining a clan etc etc . They could have a exploration space ship or something with humans on it to keep the human element there . That will prob never happen but one can wish . I hope the new movie there talking about does the franchise justice .
@@joshglover2370Well, human eyes sight is not even that good compare to some animal on earth, which they are capable to perceive more type of colours spectrum. Perhaps the yautja are adapted to it, know how to live and engaged with such visual spectrum. As you can see, any craft of the yautja such as armor and weapon and spaceship are lack of colour variations and everything visual such as hologram and screen display are in red colour.
The expanded universe has done more harm than good to the creature. It’s a mysterious Alien hunter. That’s all we really need to know. Why is it called a Yautja? Who came up with this name. Even the films don’t acknowledge that name. Also, and out of all the things that gets mentioned, what about its heart? Since we can hear it beating through his vision. That was part of the lore in the first film, yet it never gets mentioned in any documentary. They are not cold blooded either since their “heat” shows up in their vision (scorpion in the creatures hand 🖐️)
Check out the link to a video below. It should have most the answers to your questions: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vrkKcNkfFLA.html Best regards, Schizofenik
I hope in my lifetime, we either figure out the secret to FTL interstellar travel on our own, or another race comes and teaches us! I want to see the galaxy and meet other beings! 😀
@@TheWindandAirBreezes It could happen if another more advanced race teaches us or someone really smart makes a big discovery! A little over 100 years ago, an airplane was science fiction, and now we have been to the moon, and we have a probe on its way out of our solar system! Science seems to go in leaps and bounds, all it takes is for someone to ignite the spark!
Lore is pretty inconsistent too. Every comic/book just transplants the culture that they want to and results are so much inconsistency and too similar to human warrior cultures.
@@emperorofthegreatunknown4394 acid glow just put out some really good new cannon content on the origins of the predators, they were slaves to a different race etc u should check it out
Predators life span, is like Methuselah. That was already declared in the 90s comics. As for sight, is bs. They can see as we do perhaps better than us. They use those different types of visions in the mask to hunt prey, infra red not only shows the preys body heat but neuro state of mind. As I recall about the other 6 visions was made specifically to deal with prey on other planets ect. I am calling B.S. on Yauta marking themselves on the first hunt..According the 90s comics they had to show proof of the kill and marked by the elder. I can see they made b.s. changes to predators history...Yautja is not the top toughest clan predator though.
I don't think anybody has copied anyone's video. It is just that there is a limited about of information available on the internet regarding Yautja so there are only so many ways you can re-word it. Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoyed the video. Stay safe and well. Best regards, Schizofenik
These guys seem pretty tech savvy. if they are all warriors and warriors are the only value of clan who is making and maintaining all the other stuff? If you are going to world build you have to tell us who is doing the tech and menial work? if all these guys did was fight they would have never been able to build all that tech. They would have been tribesmen who lived in huts.
A channel named VK did a video on Yautja anatomy and they pretty much ripped most of your video word for word. Thought you should know since thats pretty shady.
Yeah I messed up a lot of my earlier videos as I was inexperienced with sound recording. I was also speaking in a lower tone to add an eerie mood to the videos. I think I have managed to improve the sound issues in my later uploads but I will leave that to viewers to decide. Thanks for watching. Best regards, Schizofenik
I believe with the gauntlets, it varies from having equipped with any weapon, cause from what I've seen in the original Predator movie, and also Predator 2. The gauntlet that is seen with the wrist blades is the only gauntlet that has range projectile weapon attachment, another concealled spear tip type extension for melee use or incase of a range scenario it can be cocked back with a flip up bolt & fired by a tension release trigger. Other attachments such as under palm blades or bayonet. As for the energy gauntlet which is the one where you see the self destruct plate device on, is only a gauntlet used for the purpose of only extracting, absorbing electricity, pretty much a wrist carried computer to them, controlling light bending camoflauge, vision cycles, controlling their craft wirelessly, maps etc. I don't think that the Energy system/Self destruct device gauntlets purpose is to have weapon attachment for it seems to resemble more of a mechanical computer device for controlling whatever electronically linked to that specific energy gauntlet/system, and the Bio mask seems to be also adjustable by that energy gauntlet too not to mention the other adjustments that is possible for the plasma caster through the energy gauntlet & the smart disc return to user control too. Other Predator franchise stuff where more add-ons was added on like dual wrist blade gauntlets I think wasn't original, was just seen off other ideas where they were thinking wolverine or Vega. Originally the energy gauntlet is slightly chunkier due to it being apart of the energy dependant & consuming parts of the armor or weapon so it acts as a energy store/battery whereas the blade gauntlets are less thick and chunky
