@@joedingo7022their parents agreed to shove their kids in a room with strangers. Not sure they have their kids best interests at heart. It’s a COMEDY SHOW
@@jpshy1130 Absolutely! I can't believe they expect us to forget about that! It was completely cynical and irresponsible to allowing him closer than his allowed range near children.
@@anomalo. Schlatt is the Uncle you don't want your kids to be around because even though he is fun, you know he is the worst possible influence for them. Daniel is like that fun Sunday School Teacher that everyone loves.
imagine these kids, like ten years in the future just having this random memory being in a wooden room with strangers. They’re gonna think it’s a dream😭
as someone whos worked with kids this is my personal assessment that nobody asked for !! daniel: talks to them like a friend, but still makes sure theyre safe. asks them what they like and incorporates that into their activity. has an enthusiastic voice and matches their energy without sounding demeaning. it can be hard to figure out how to talk to certain age groups and it's good to be able to talk to kids at their level. overall, very good !! schlatt: he doesn't really talk to them any differently than he would anyone else and kids like that. his choice of activities, while weird and confusing, are still probably funny to the kids. he gives older brother vibes. he seems like the kinda guy parents wouldn't necessarily like the influence of over their kids, but the kids love. unsure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.. kyedae: she is not awful with kids. definitely better than they were all joking about. she's a very calm and soothing presence. while they weren't all actively playing together, they were participating in a similar, but separate, activity. parallel play is an important thing for kids to do. she indulged them in idle chit-chat and expressed her interest in what the kids were telling her. the dog bit would be awkward for anyone, so i wouldn't worry too much about that. rooney seemed fine and was just establishing boundaries. i'd say kyedae is more of a motherly figure. lily: unfortunately, kids are able to tell when you're nervous and don't know what you're doing. daycare work is very different, because that deals with much younger children. lily is clearly out of her element here. i don't think she did anything horribly wrong, she just seemed very lost. i doubt the kids disliked her; they probably just felt similarly awkward.
I currently work with toddlers at a learning center & I've worked with school age in the past this is all spot on! I'd even add in where I'd place em in a daycare. Think I'd put Schlatt with school age (lower), Kydae with school age (upper), Lily with preschool & Daniel tbh Daniel could probably adapt anywhere preschool & up
From this video, Schlatt is the only person I would trust with my kid. Despite his jokes, his demeanor and attitude was calm and cool and had a plan to make the kids laugh. He wasn’t nervous or worried, he knew what he was doing and loved having fun with them. I wanna be a dad like Schlatt
Daniel is great with kids and keeping them entertained, Lily is overwhelmed (I would be too), and Schlatt pulled the "Trevor Moore explains 9/11 to Kids"
I mean as a former child myself I can attest to building forts and throwing paper as prime entertainment from the ages 5 to 8. I think it's just that alot of the others didn't target their activities to the age range, duck duck goose is for a younger audience, just talking seems a bit boring for kids and schlatt taking about Andrew is directing their humor towards the audience rather than the kids
I love how schlatt brought a crazy high powered flashlight to a bunch of children and acted surprised when one of them tried to point it at their own eyes lmao
I love how Daniel is just able to let his inner-child out. Honestly seems like he'd be a really good babysitter, especially if you give him a piano to entertain with!
Lily, despite working for a daycare once was the one who REALLY needed help, schlatt is like the cool nice teacher who make you laugh and Daniel is secretly a child in an adult's body
Pre-school Student Teacher here! Schlatt did something that actually works very well with kids/young-teens, which is saying, "I *need* you to ___." Schlart should consider working part-time with a preschool or children's center, because I could definitely see a lot of talent there (even considering the subject matter).
I forget that not everyone is used to being around children cause I was like '15 minutes? Thats nothing" and then remembered I have a 4 year old and I'm biased lmaoo
it’s actually concerning how good schlatt is with kids , he gives off that cool uncle vibe who your not really sure should be allowed to drive and have access to money but he’s cool either way
This was a great video, I loved to see Daniel as I’ve been a fan of his for a while now, and I enjoyed seeing lily and kydee as I was only vaguely aware of them before! The note for schlatt was really heartwarming to see, and everyone in this video was funny! I’ve actually never really watched one of your videos Ludwig, but I might have to start!
5:40 Schlatt: "There's one thing every New Yorker knows, and it's that we love one man in particular" 8:57 Also Schlatt: "So he's a good guy? Oh, okay, that's an intersting take" Yeah, a take that came from Schlatt himself
