I know this was a 1y ago, but I just think that the newer ones are more beautiful, the old ones, just look too realistic in my own opinion, but I do wish I had the retired white Arabian mare.
The retired Tennessee walking horse is cool, I just am not a fan of the nicked and set looking tail since that is cruel in my opinion. But seriously, the realism on the retired ones makes a huge difference!
I totally understand where your coming from, even though this was a year ago! I live the older schleich and have the trakhner mare and gray Arab myself and they are beautiful! My dream is definitely the retired camargue mare!
I want the old black forest badly!! I also want the retired halflinger stallions! The new andalusian mare is beautiful but the old is better and can wear bridles without stretching them out. Id like her too. I think both of the halflinger mares are beautiful but also i like the breed alot, i might be biased. Personally im not a fan of the old gyspy canners mold but i can see how its more realistic. I really like tennese walkers schleichs done too. Some of my favorites really.
The older ones somtimes have less detaile but the newer ones sometimes have more bad detaled I got one from the stop and the paints already chiping and the mane has bubbles in it
@@SchleichorseJune is sad you only can get them for eBay, or Amazon if you wanna spend $50 a horse! Personally the retired Lipizzaner mare is my fav, you may know her from Schleich horse lover 200! I used to have her but I traded her for the retired fjord stallion
The old ones are more realistic but some of the new ones I love but some other ones not so much but I loveee old pinto stallion that's just my opinion also love your vids and I'm subed also love the new pinto as well

Totally agree!!! I actually stopped collecting schleich because of the new horses poor quality... I guess I'm switching to Breyer Schleich really disappointed me. BTW your channel is amazing!!! Full support here 💪

Yeah I agree, I’ve changed opinions since this video was made. But where I come from, we never use colored braids in my advents so it’s just strange! But either way they are so bright for the model itself. But thanks!😊
A majority of them are not, they are just harder to find and go for more depending on the model. A model that isn’t retired goes for an average of $9 while a retired horse can go anywhere from $20-90. Hope this helped!😊 I have some older ones too, they are cool to have.
I used to like Schleich. However all the animals gets more and more unrealistic and ugly. I remember the time there the horses had a smooth surface but looked great. My first teacher even gifted me an arabic horse foal from between 2003 and 2006 and it's my favorite piece I have. The shading and realism of the foal is great.
I have the two last ones and the retired Tennessee is so unrealistic shading is horrible and it's a recreat of schleich so that's why and the new I have in brown and white and black (from Hannah's western playset or something)and she's pretty realistic
The old one are 100% better but on the Arabian mare there is a even older one which is even better, and idk I would not compare stallions and mares there is a other fresian stallion or mare and a Tennessee Walker stallion and mare to compare ( for my opinion stallions look most of the time better then mares on models) xD
I don't buy the ones that look weird I only buy the ones that are a little bit realistic if I can't find any that look a little bit realistic I go to collecta
@@horse_crzy2007 they look more realistic then schleich my favorite is the fjord. I haven't brought him yet because I already am waiting to buy the schleich Connemara pony and cart. But if you want you can start collecting collecta.
@@horse_crzy2007 their a little bit bigger then schleich the pony's are about the size as the horses and the horses are almost the size of the draft horses. Just wanted to let you know
the retired schleich horses are way cooler, because the poses are fabulous, and way more realism and the old horses are actually hand-painted and it looks so much better then the lazy work they put in the new ones, like the pray-paint look is horrible, i think schleich has gotten lazy, plus some other schleich horses they have made have flowers in their manes and it doesn't look all that realistic, i mean sure you can put flowers in your horses hair but it's kinda unlikely from what i've seen. and i don't like the "pretty" flowy manes because it's unrealistic i want super realistic horse models not this crap! tbh i've changed brands, i don't buy from schleich anymore, if i do, it's very rare. It just isn't the same...
Yes no problem! That is your opinion, I really like the newer ones just don't think they are as realistic and judging by others channels I'm not going crazy lol :D But it is okay to have your opinion! I just know lot's of people agree the new schleich horses are not as realistic. :)
That is true, but a lot of the model Horse community prefers them that way. That’s basically what they are known for. And always have been till recently. Thanks
