Rheydt Castle | Sight presented by Stadtfuehrung.de 

Rheydt Castle dates back to the 12th century, but its current appearance is primarily the result of renovations in the 16th century. The unchanged Renaissance architecture that we see today was developed during the time when the castle was owned by the von Bylandt family. It is the only completely preserved Renaissance castle complex in the Lower Rhine region.
