Wickrath Castle is surrounded by a 19-hectare park and is located in the southwestern part of Mönchengladbach. This Baroque castle is a testament to unique architectural beauty. Friedrich Wilhelm Otto Baron von Quadt commissioned the construction, which took place from 1746 to 1772. The axially symmetrical design is a distinctive feature of the castle, modeled after French examples.
