This coupling are not intended to be used with engines. Rather they are used in application where distance of rotation axis between input and output shaft changes and rotation speed is relatively slow.
What would be a "maximum" RPM, for a coupler designed for ~28mm motor and load shafts? This looks intriguing, for applications where you may replace a motor with a different frame size. As long as the shafts are parallel, it wouldn't matter, if there is a radial offset. Can this coupler run right on center if needed? I live in the United States, so, a 4-pole induction motor runs ~1,800 RPM. (60 Hz line frequency)
