Schofield Pass out at Crested Butte, Colorado. Started off in Crested Butte and headed out to Gothic, Colorado. Then went to the water falls off Schofield Pass area and then over to Crystal, Colorado and into Marble, Colorado. Checked out the Old Crystal Mill (famous site to photograph). Going down the pass road and finding the site where some dude fell off the cliff on his KTM Dirt bike. Be sure to check out part 2 of this video series where I go up Lead King Basin Road (#315.1).

Very nice job on the video. I think it shows Schofield pass very well. I have been over it many times in the 70's and it was nowhere near as bad as it is now. I thought I would take my KTM over instead of my jeep (50 years later) but I think it is too difficult for me even on my bike. Great job again. FYI I am guessing you have motocross boots on. Funny I would not may that walk on the ledge overlooking the water fall. You're better than me!!!

That is a good idea! I think there is also a video of them trying to get the bike out of the river. Def needs a rebuild after a cliff dive like that :)

was that road bad where the dude fell? I know on camera nothing looks bad

The road itself is not so bad...but going up it and knowing that guy hit a rock and fell off the cliff messes with your mind. I could tell how the rocks bump your front wheel around with the loose rocks.
