Scholarly vs. Public vs. Pop History | The Diatribe 

There are many types of history, and one batch of categories determines what the expected audience will be. Scholarly history only tries to talk to scholars. Pop history is only concerned with being popular. And public is somewhere in between. I hope I am that third category.
