The cancellation of the School Bus Demolition Derby at the Washington County Fair in 2016 due to extremely muddy and rainy conditions seemed to add extra life to this extremely popular School Bus Demolition Derby at the Washington County Fairgrounds in SW Pennsylvania on Wednesday night August 16, 2017.

Great time at this event!!!!!!!! About our seventh year going to see this. usually only go to fairs to see tractor pulls.this is the exception...

Is this in Washington PA? I went to school in Avella and my uncle Petie McCrerey drove school bus back then. We used to show animals at that fair every year.

Just remembered a stunt driver who used to race around the track and do tricks. I believe it was Joey Chitwood

They also had horse racing there (Arden Downs) before "The Meadows" harness racing track was built in nearby Meadowlands, Pa.

That particular Wednesday was Murphy Family Inc. day, so they would be the sponsor... guess the Fair Board is the promoter?? That announcer for the demo is sure entertaining!
