Clip from a drill I was contacted to assist with. Couple students got rowdy at times with one pulling a cover off a pull station during the evac however all went well for the most part. System is a 4010 classic.

Whether the drill was announced or not, anyone will know the fire alarm is about to get pulled just from hearing the siren on the stopper 🤣

Yep, that's how it was with the middle school near my old house, albeit with Sigcom's "Sentry" covers, and when a firefighter would lift one open to activate a pull station. A really piercing sound; the principal there (who was one of my teachers at my own elementary school years before) said it sounded even worse than the actual fire alarms! (Simplex 4100U voice-evac, then a Notifier NFS2-640 after the 4100U panel was plagued with problems.) For the record, it's the only school in my city with Sigcom's "Sentrys"; the others are going with STI's Stopper covers. My high school recently had them installed over virtually all the pull stations (they still have most of the original fire alarm equipment from 1969-70: Simplex 4040 horns (ouch!) and Edwards 270-SPO pulls and a few replacement Simplex 4251-20s).

Wow, those TrueAlerts sure are piercing. To me they're just as loud as System Sensor's SpectrAlert Advances on high volume, along with the Wheelock AS. The main public library in my city has a Simplex 4010 Classic as well, but it's a voice-evac system, with a 4003 voice control panel and TrueAlert speaker/strobes, installed in 2002 when the library was expanded and renovated. Wouldn't be surprised if they soon upgrade to a Simplex 4010ES (or possibly a 4007ES) with a 4003EC.

@@safetech I did try and reach out based on some contact information. I attempted to reach out to one of the project managers based on some contact info I provided. The programming issue is already solved. Also I have provided the numbers and names on the Instagram chat that I used last time with my 4007 panel issue.

4010 FACP? Sounds like the same era as the first True Alert horn/strobes, which are very loud, IRL, the first ones I experienced, was in the early-2000s.
