This makes me feel better as an adult who struggles with Adulting! I don’t have a kid, but I’m a teacher and lunch is different every day and a chore that takes Herculean effort.
At our school, if u forget ur lunch the school will physically call your parents and make them bring a lunch in for you 🍝🥗🍱. And u can't just have a school dinner bc u have to pay and if it's not booked then it's not happening lol
Lmao, I pack my own lunch and once I’m seated at my desk to eat, I just stare at my food and completely lose my appetite, it isn’t even gross but I just don’t eat a lot lol
Fun fact!: birds actually eat more for their body mass at around 25%, while pigs, on the other hand only eat 4%! :) (This is meant to be purely informational, I am not trying to one-up someone or whatever.)
Still a lot better than school lunch. Legit once a heard from one of my friends when I was in high school, she said she wouldn't be surprised if a student got food poisoning from the cafeteria lunch
whenever someone forgets their lunch, we give them from our food. once I forgot mine once and I was offered food by 4 people, and they wouldn't stop till I ate something 😊
In elementary my mom packed me lunchables and in middle my mom would pack me 2 or 3 Nutella sandwiches (2 pieces of bread with Nutella on them) sometimes with strawberries or bananas and some snacks, I always had a lot of energy lmao
The one said they were out of groceries is probably the kid who said in the 'Sarah's sister part 1' "my dad watches starwars movie with me when I go to his house, I don't really like starwars but it makes my dad happy"
In my case, I never had food for school. Either money was too tight, I would forget to prepare it due to my undiagnosed ADHD/ASD or it would be something I wouldn't eat due to taste/texture/leftover
At the first day of school my teacher Atlanta I forgot to get my lunch so my Tifa was nice enough to go get it for me upstairs thank you mrs. Estella for being nice
