bkaspe00 hello, this is the drummer in the video. And about the crowd, there wasn’t too many people there when we performed it. There’s another video with all of us playing with a bigger crowd watching. When we played this for the bigger crowd, I had a few friends sitting in the crowd listening, and they didn’t take it seriously in the beginning of the song, but they ended up liking it
Austin Collins real quick I wanted to say thank you for reaching out to me and giving me a wider look into this and I just wanted to say I really love what you guys were doing and how your friends enjoyed it as well that song means a lot to me and seeing you guys cover it was a good time
bkaspe00 not a problem. The song was a personal favorite of our bassist, Dan. He’s been wanting to play for a long time and when we started going over what songs to perform, this was a must. It was definitely a challenging song to play, but we all had a good time playing it
Bro you weren't supposed to blast-beat going back into the last part but you know what chief I give you props for giving it a shot. Nice blasts and even better A7X shirt bro \m/
We’re all still making music! Aaron and Jon (both guitarists) are going to college, Dan (bassist) is making music under the name Duskfall, and I’m making music with my band Heartbent
Timothy Silva hello, this is the drummer in the video. While I will admit that it doesn’t sound like the original, I do have something to say. There are two reasons why it didn’t sound like the original. First reason, we had numerous other songs that we had to rehearse. We had about 9 songs total with dream house being our finale. And because of these other songs, (next reason) we were only able to rehearse this song once. We had set goals for every rehearsal that we had (which was every other Monday), and it was to focus more on the first set of songs we picked. Once they sounded good, we would move onto the next set. We rehearsed this the day before the show, and we felt comfortable with it. By the time of the show, we played it like when we rehearsed. So there you go. You have your answer. Even though it didn’t sound like the original, we were happy with how it sounded. Side note: this was our last show, so we wanted to have a little fun with changing the song a little bit to something that all four of us liked
