Mrs Puff was known as "Puff the Tough" from when she was known to be a member of the Salty Spatoon, its the roughest and toughest joint in the Sea(or just bikini bottom). The Salty Spatoon was first shown in the Season 3 episode of Spongebob squarepants called "No weenies allowed " when Spongebob and Sandy went to that joint and only sandy and other Tough sea creatures had access but spongebob wanted to get access by proving he is Tough. The inside of the Salty Spatoon was featured for the first time in Spongebob squarepants in the Season 13 episode "The Salty Sponge " where Spongebob had to get a temporary job over there until the krusty krab was free from an urchin infestation. Mrs Puff appeared in that episode as an intimidating member but it was only until she heard Spongebob's laugh is when she ran out of the club 😅in terror, and they made Spongebob its new leader.

This episode aired in the end of December, 1999, in the United States. In other countries, around 2000.

I think Squidward doing sit-ups in the future was his way of processing his current situation. It's so random, but makes sense at the same time. Thats what i like about older spongebob, it doesn't need stretchy faces, gross out humor, or edgy humor to be funny.

"Krusty Love" from Spongebob squarepants season 2 is very funny and has a very good life lesson.

There aren’t really a lot of school scenes in that show considering it’s set during an impossibly long summer vacation but it does have a school episode called Doof 101 to which you might be interested in reacting. There is a sequel episode to "SB-129", the Episode is called "PL-1413" its an alternative version of this episode, and its in Season 14 of Spongebob squarepants, its one of the brand new episodes released last month for Spongebob squarepants' 25th Anniversary 🎉. In "PL-1413" Plankton travels 2,000 years into the future and meets some unfamiliar faces and ends ups in a Chrome Bikini bottom. You should react to it one day.

This episode actually came out in 1999, and since it’s 2000 years in the future, that would mean their “present” is 2017- 18 years later. And yes, future Patrick is called Pattron.

I've always loved the randomness of the giant can opener and the annoyed look on Squidward's face after he steps back out.

I always thought this episode was so different from other SpongeBob episodes when I was a kid. I love when he leaves his house after telling SpongeBob and Patrick no, then realizing he was infact, leaving his house. Then went back to knock on his own door. Their future sure is shiny. I don't remember Squidward saying "I want to go back." at the end of the episode.

Spongebob tries to get into the Salty Spitoon ,the roughest, and toughest place in Bikini bottom, however he is classified as a weeny and therefore cannot enter, however, Sandy was able to enter because she has proven how tough she is. Spongebob decides to get some help from Patrick which ends up being a surreal and hilarious scenario 🤣 😂 You will love it Mr Brandon.

While the 24hr ones are at mid S2 and the start of 4, this in mid S1 and Something Smells from the start of 2 both have it closed on Sunday. And no, S1 came out in 1999/2000. I do recall a 2017 easter egg in the 2003 game "I Spy Fantasy". Very much like Squidward to create his own heck (by inventing jellyfishing)

Yeah even in Season 1 there's some gross imagery, but I still like it, I also don’t think SpongeBob immediately got terrible in Season 4 it was just a gradual decline that got way too out of control by Season 10 or so and the majority of the episodes were all bad. For me the single digit SpongeBob seasons are best.

In the Episode, Spongebob becomes obsessed with a song called "The Musical Doodle" 🎼 so much to the point that it takes control of Spongebob's head and he has a green earworm in his head that has been playing the song repeatedly in his head and his friends try to help him, but squidward helps drive it out with his Clarinet music. I remember the first time I saw this episode was December 31, 1999! That day also had other shows air their time travel episodes, like Rugrats and Catdog to celebrate the new millennium!

I really recommend checking out "Idiot Box" of season 3, episode 4. It's a real classic, and definitely one of my favorites!

I can’t remember exactly where I heard it, maybe a SpongeBob theory video somewhere on RU-vid, but I think the fact that Squidward ended up in the year 4017 implies that the takes place in 2017 at its start. Because this episode was definitely produced years earlier. Also, I can’t remember if you already been recommended this by someone, but the anime, _Assassination Classroom_ is it really fun show! and the English dub is great! Highly recommend! It’s got two seasons and 47 episodes total it long!
