@@CHRISTIANNWO These situations are sometimes worse in job professions. Believe it or not, plagiarism or tampering with assigned work done by others is sometimes common even in local government departments. I've known some cases involving department heads or supervisors requesting special reports from their staff only to take credit for the completed work by personally submitting the assignment to their admins without ever acknowledging the staff person who work on it. In cases such as this, the deception can go as far, with the supervisor or department head requesting their staff to work on assignments that are not within the scope of their job task with the realization that the assignment task given to them was actually an assigned task given to their supervisor or department lead. Sometimes, a perceptive staff person will catch on to this. In situations such as these, it best to be alert.

Kuwabara has some heightened senses which makes him semi-aware of spirits which makes Yusuke able to do some things to Kuwabara, but not everything. It is sort like a bond between friends even when one dies and he is able to listen to him. I absolutely love this series because it has good characterisation in this show, as it gives each characters their own development. In Japan, there are strict on sort of things, but I think in their school, there are some things they can do which would get teachers and principals fired. Especially with the firing in Japan is not exactly the same as the US. Of course you can get fired for many things like in Japan, but when it comes to places like schools as most schools in Japan are private, they rather avoid firing teachers because if parents and the school board hears about someone getting fired, the school values prestige and if there is a bad apple being fired, parents will likely remove their students to another school with their money. Reputation is everything. Likely the principals and teachers would chastise one bad teacher to fall in line, so they don't have to resort to firing. I am not a complete expert of Japanese hiring and firing system, but that is the best I can explain from learning about their culture

Running away is more looked down upon and seen as cowardly in Japanese culture I think. It makes sense the guy would rather stand his ground and get beat up. It's sad though of course. No school should ever be like that. Makes for a great episode though. Is nice to see such friends protecting each other like this.

I think the the reason the principal didn' step in the moment the teachers erased kuwabara's answer was because he was probably giving them a chance to see if they were really going to give him a lower score than he was supposed to get or do the right thing and give kuwabara the actual score he deserved at least thats what i think happened here

5:00 At my high school a lot of seniors had permission from the school and parents to work during the school day. It usually only happened if it was a financial necessity and if the student only needed a few credits left to graduate. Most of them were 18 anyways. Given the socioeconomics of the neighborhood was quite common for students to take the “early bird” classes in the first 3 years to get get ahead

Regarding your request for other anime set in school. Sailor Moon (1992), season 1 episode 5: "Computer School Blues" Or Sailor Moon Crystal (2014), season 1 episode 2: "Ami -Sailor Mercury-" takes place partly in school and partly in a tutoring centre, so there would be a lot of content there for you to react to. Sailor Moon Crystal is a remake of the original Sailor Moon, both episodes that I listed have mostly the same plot. I'm sure fans of Sailor Moon can list other episodes, that have a lot of scenes that are set in school, that you can react to.

I'm glad you enjoyed this episode. The only time I've ever heard of student exam grade tampering was in college. Aside from that, report card grade tampering was fairly common among the kids I went to school with. This was of course during the mid 90s in which certain schools issued report card grades written in pencil and handed it out via scanned fill-in sheets. To the best of my knowledge, certain times teachers would find out about the student report card grade tampering was during parent-teacher conferences regarding a student's poor academic performance in class in which the student's parent would bring up the topic of their child's report card to the teacher which eventually leads to the truth coming out about the falsified grade report done by the student. These circumstances were quite embarrassing for the parent.

I love this sort of reactions with a professional twist. I know this isn't the type of media you check, but there's this game called 'Lost Judgment' It's a sequel to a game in an adult action adventure game where you play as a detective trying to solve a big often times grizzly cases. Lost Judgment has a part that takes place in a high school setting and the matter of bullying is very tied into the main mystery. Near the start of the game, the main character and his crew are hired to uncover a bullying problem by the school's principal and later joins the faculty as a consultant for various after school clubs. Probably not a playthrough but just watching some of the cutscenes and give an input.

This episode reminded me of a small scandal that happened at my school. The Top 10 placements were switched around. The student who was intended to be number 10 was suddenly dropped down to number 11, replaced by the student who was the son of the attendance keeper. Plus, number 1 and number 2 were swapped. These swapped places were held during the graduation ceremony, along with yearbook photos and a Top 10 banquet. We know they were swapped because when everyone got their final grades after graduating, everyone was back to where they were. And nothing in their grades would suggest the placements shifting like they did. A lot of staff from that school also left after that year. Not necessarily changing grades, but falsely reporting them

You could react to the episode where Yusake comes back to life and goes. Back to school... You'll probably only react to half of it since only half is at the school. But it gets pretty ridiculous and it is legitimately school related. There's also a no violence episode where a fellow student has the power to forbid violence and they have to outwit him this is at another students home but is pretty late on the series. In Japan, students often are prohibited from having jobs by their school. It's apparently somewhat common in anime, as it makes for a common drama in this way. Yugioh has a similar scene which was edited for the dub to the job requiring employees be 18. I think the principal waits until he does mostly for drama, even within the story; Hoping to scare the teacher into compliance after he thinks he is getting away with it, rather than stopping him in the moment.

I watch your videos because I find it interesting to get the perspective of media topics from real life professionals in similar fields as the topic of the media. Sometimes though I learn more then I figured I would, such as you talking about the legalities of work programs for underage kids. One thing I wonder though is wouldn't eligibility in those programs be attached to some sort of grade average? IDK but that would make some sense to me. Maybe that's what the schools approval was all about in the show anyway.

In most schools in Japan, it is against school rules to get a part-time job, while enrolled. You can sometimes get permission to work, but you need to go through the school faculty to get permission (according to Sora The Troll, anyway). That’s what the approval was about.

Love this! Re: The working the student does and why the school could impact that. In Japan schools are given a far broader reach over what students do, especially since a lot of them work more like how private schools work in the united states, enrollment is highly conditional and even their enrollment is seen as association since the schools at the middle and high level do not have to take students. This means a great number of them, for one reason or another, only allow students to work after school jobs as an exception, and often you can't see them going to places in their uniforms after school that aren't school or home, they're expected to change clothes first.

Your channel is very interesting. Thank you for the fun video. This is 3 months late but I just ran across this video and thought you might like a little insight in case you check out more anime. Japanese schools have different rules, cultural norms, and fundamental rules than American schools, even American schools operated Within Japan. That being the case, Japanese culture is very much founded on the idea that the school plays a large part in the students' lives, even during after school hours. Therefore, the idea of "The nail that sticks up is the one which draws the hammer" illuninates how The Japanese resist individualism. They strive for sameness and the schools exemplify this attitude. For example: - Students are generally required to wear uniforms and there are typically strict rules about appearance. This includes hair length and style, type of jewelry that can be worn, and other changes a student may want. There is an anime series called "The 12 Kingdoms" with a female protagonist with naturally red hair. Throughout her time in school, she and her parents are pressured to dye her hair to a more traditional color despite knowing it's her true hair color - Students aren't only responsible for keeping themselves and their school neat and clean. They are also required to keep up their grades and have at least one club they participate in. Wearing street clothes or subpar uniforms are a no no because it's considered disrespectful. - Saving face" is important in Japanese culture because pride of country, culture, and people is a useful path to respect, peace, and unity. This includes showing the proper deference and respect, which is why several of yuteachers have a dislike for YuYu Hakusho. He doesn't listen well, talks back, and refuses to wear the proper uniform. Also, if something goes wrong, scapegoating often occurs. This is seen in the first few episodes of "Naruto" as well as a story arc in the middle of "Bamboo Blade". In Naruto, the main character's behavior causes his teachers, classmates, and many people in his village to dislike him and put him down. In "Bamboo Blade", the students on the school's kendo team are forced to request the captain of the team to resign wjen two previous members get into a fight off campus in a video gaming room. - And Japan has different rules about school and working. Many schools forbid students to work. They believe it's an unnecessary distraction. On the other hand, Japanese education doesn't require that students to stay in school beyond middle school -- which I believe is still in place. This is clear in the way Yusuuke's mother told him to either stay in school or get a job.. Students can also go to any school within a certain distance from their house instead of attending the local in their immediate area. In "Ace of Diamond", two students attend a specific school in order to play baseball. In another anime, "Food Wars", the main character has spent several years helping his father run the family restaurant. The MC becomes highly skilled in cooking, so he ends up going to a specialty school that focuses on the culinary arts, where the anime takes place after the first couple episodes. Again, it's been a while since I studied this topic, so things could changed. so. There are plenty of videos showing both American and Japanese students talking about their experiences in school. The American students talking about their Day At School will also be of Great interest for you. If you would like to have a few suggestions, I'd be glad to do that for you

If anything, I had more interaction with the Vice Principal and lower. That's not to say, I thought less of the Principal, but I just felt they were so detached from everything. Granted, word of the superintendent felt like the auditor of the school. Word about them, and it felt like giving them a remotely bad look would get you in trouble. All the same, I never really had much interaction with school administration. Maybe because I earned decent grades and exhibited decent behavior? Regardless, I have to wonder how much interaction any student should have. Not to say that I missed out, but I am curious, haha.

Wait...teachers making deals with students isn't right???? Oh God my whole school life was really wrong. we all hated that kind of stuff but it was supposedly the only way to get the "trouble makers" to behave. They got special privileges by just following the rules but the good students didn't get anything by being good.

Sorry. Everybody requested 1 and 3. They said those were the school episodes. I had never seen it so I didn’t know any different.

Where's ep 2? Also, the opening theme is even better in Japanese, at least the instrumental.

@SchoolPrincipalReacts Watch the full show. This is one of those shows you gotta FULLY watch it. It's 112 EPs long.

The channel theme is about school. Although I love episode 2 of this series, it's pretty unrelated to school.

episode 2 isn't school related. This isn't just a generic reaction channel.

@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Thank you. Well, it's a continuous story. It's possible to watch an episode in the middle, but to get an idea of what it's about, the first one might be good.

@@svenjaschulz5872 suggest the intro, and then episodes that actually teaches about learning... because Mr Principal will have a stroke with the amount of rule breakings in this anime XD

How about Season 2 Episode 13. There you find out the background story of the school principal and why he runs the high school the way he does.

Ouran High School Host Club. 💜💜💜 The entire show takes place in a posh school for *very* wealthy kids. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - talk about dark shows; the main character is a teacher and most of the show takes place in his classroom. He's suicidal. Both of these are very short series'.

I don't know the other one, but Ouran High School Host Club does have some pretty interesting students haha (though I've only seen a little of it)
