Dale, I don’t know if it’s you who’s responding to the comments but I’m speaking to you directly when I say this, THANK YOU. This was well spoken and I back every word you said. We can do better and we MUST do better.
Patrolling police are abandoned where I live. They don't patrol the streets on foot and have cops sitting in their cars. They rush after a call has happened instead of trying to prevent crime and disorder, it's beneath them
It’s all about the money, my friend - one mid sized (3’x4’) pane of rifle-resistant glass is going to set you back about $6000. A new school designed to accommodate ~400 kids costs about $20,000,000 these days. If the people want schools to enjoy the same level of safety and security as airports and courthouses, the American public needs to be ready to do some absolutely massive spending in that department…
Politicians will posture and beat their chest about gun legislation, but have yet to harden the schools in place. Instead of paying 40 billion to Ukraine, put that money into protecting the future of America. Put in layered defenses, Entry Control points. Electronic entry and exits. Gates, cameras, armed security guards. This is fixable. The initiative needs to be kn prevention and protection.
Agreed we don’t need to be supplying of the country with money when our own country needs our money to protect our own citizens and we need to stop focusing on the idea of force and violence for protection because that is the opposite. Protection is prevention everything after prevention is a perversion of protection.
I enjoy your videos and respect your points of view. Interesting you reference airport security which stops criminal activity. Should we redesign school structures to create more barriers to keep our kids safe? I do not oppose it if it keeps our families safe. We will have to spend money and resources at some point to take care of this epidemic. Thank you!
