Wouldn't the Carbon helmet be lighter weight than the regular C5? I just got my wife a new C5 in blue color. It's beautiful and she loves the comfort. I'm thinking I may get one now as well and trying to decide if the $1499 price tag is worth the price over the $759 for the regular C5. Also, I think for the C5 in size LG and XL, they give additional padding to custom fit the shape of your head. I'm an XL so that'll be helpful for me.. as I have a big round head lol.

The carbon is lighter than the regular C5 only by a little bit here’s the weights and you have to consider the communication equipment too. C5: Size 59: 1780g +/- 50g Size 61: 1910g +/-50g C5 Carbon: Size 53/55: 1577g ( 1607g with accessories) Size 57/59: 1600g ( 1630g with accessories) Size 61/63: 1767g ( 1797g with accessories) |

Excellent video! What a coincidence this is a helmet that I have been looking at. I currently have a Schuberth CP3 Modular helmet. A concern I heard about the CP 5 is that the visor on it drops when you get up to a certain speed. So, I am wondering if that was fixed in this helmet and if he noticed it. So your friend likes this helmet better than the Alpinestar helmet and the CP 5? What are your thoughts about the helmet and how did it look to you in person. We saw it on video. And the quality of the helmet etc.. Thanks

Thanks for checking out the video and commenting as always I appreciate your support. My friend really likes the helmet I don’t believe he had a problem with the visor because he rode with it up for most of the trip because it was hot outside. He likes the fitment of the Alpine star better but the C5 carbon is super lightweight and the quality workmanship seems top-notch.

That helmet is beautiful…I have wearing shuberth helmets since 2015. I was planning to order this specific one from champions helmets overseas. Do you guys know a better (trustworthy) site I can order from europa? I do not want the usa version. Great video

@@jegonzalez6524 I’ll ask my friend what website he used. I know he bought it from Germany. If memory serves, I believe he told me it ended up being a little bit less money than buying in the U.S.

Can you post the link 🔗 where you order this helmet from !, I just return a M size i ordered through cycle trader because it was to snug so want to order a L size . But I paid $1,603.93 overall , I heard you said that you paid $1,200 total . Thanks before hand
