Kyle Schwarber had a historic 2023 season. He was the first player in MLB history to have 40 HR, 100 RBI, 200 K, and a batting average south of .200 in the regular season.
He also hit five homers in the postseason, officially hitting the 20 career postseason home run mark. He's only the fifth player EVER to do that, joining Manny Ramirez, Jose Altuve, Bernie Williams and Derek Jeter. Cool list. He also did it with 200 less ABs than those guys.
He's simply the coolest leadoff hitter I've seen in my lifetime. God bless this man.
