Nice to see that wattage increase as the bike's resistence goes up. Been looking for an answer to this forever. Now I know that's the bike for me, thanks brother.
Hi Are you still open to questions? If so I bought the Bowflex 6 I have Zwift and I appreciate your videos. In the video you talk about increasing resistance. However, you stop, before talking about climbing. Have you found away to match in some way the percentage when the ride starts to climb a grade? I am still getting back into riding.. I used to ride outdoors back in the 80's to 2005.. So still some what flat in the course. Thanks so much if you get a chance to answer
You hold down the workout reset button (counterclockwise arrow) once numbers zero out you then press and hold gown up and down arrows. Speed will be selected and then press up or down arrow to select miles per hour. Figured out last night, the manual directions aren't that great.
When using Zwift, do you adjust the resistance for hills? To me it seems like a major downside that you can't simulate the experience of the bike course without constantly adjusting the resistance numb. Any thoughts?
I know Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost the password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Maximo Mario Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Good morning can you help me please I have an Ic8 bike UK equivalent to IC4 and I think the resistance on the bike set up is too high eg if I set it to 30+ it would be like pedalling up hardest hill I haven't ever got past 43! My baseline is around 7/8 and if I were to go lower the pedals never feel out of control. Does that sound right to you? Thanks Lucy
Can you give an idea on how many turns the knob takes to get to different resistance levels? Like, how many turns to get to 10 resistance and so on. I have an IC3 which doesn’t have the resistance level monitor.
You will not be able to turn the knob on the IC3 to match the IC4. I went through this issue and right away sold my IC3 and bought a IC4 so I had the digital screen to properly ride/train
How are you getting Zwift on your TV? Are you simply mirroring your phone or tablet to a chromecast or other dongle stick ? If that is a native app on roku or firetv ...how do you get the stats to connect to the bike? Tjanks
I disagree. I have have friends with peloton bikes who have come over and used my IC4 and it matches perfectly they said. This is such a misconception that everyone keeps making
@@mellangatang I found out how to calibrate the resistance and it's pretty spot on now. It's on a zwift forum. I'll put the link here. forums.zwift.com/t/schwinn-ic8-spin-bike/171514/56 Careful, as apparently you can only do this 3 times. Be sure to do it right the first time. When calibrating for the high end....make sure NOT to turn it all the way to the right, like it says. Turn it until you cannot pedal any longer and mark that as 100 mark. It gets way to hard to pedal much before turning all the way to the right. Good luck. If you don't see the link, the video uploader may need to approve it first.
@@raroshraj I have no idea why it only gives you 3 times. That's just what I heard. I haven't tested it beyond 2 times. But yes, after I calibrated it the values seemed more realistic as far as the watts used with my body weight while pedaling at certain RPM's from what charts from Pelaton and other bike apps say. The first time I calibrated it I made the mistake of turning the resistance ALL THE WAY up to where you couldn't even move the pedals at all, so I had to calibrate it a 2nd time. You want 100% to be ALMOST impossible, but if you stand up you can barely pedal with all your force.
