Thank you very much for that advice. I do wear a respirator when using any aerosols or sprays and have my ventilation system on. I don't want to breathe chemicals, that's for sure! @@adventuresincrafting2022 NP. You can use a small old worn-out brush for the same trick too. Not only does it conserve a lot of accelerant, anyone who shares your workspace will probably appreciate the reduced stink from using less of the stuff. I started using that trick after a housemate groused about the smell sticking to me, which was a bad sign considering they had a three-pack-a-day habit and smelled like an ashtray themselves.

@richmcgee434 oh geez... I will definitely take that under advisement. I haven't gotten any complaints from my lady yet but now I am certainly more concerned.

@@adventuresincrafting2022 Could be worse. I used to work for a couple of different resin casters and my job included a fair bit of time on the old disc sander getting kits cleaned up for sale. The respirator and goggles saved my lungs and eyes, but the dust got everywhere and I pretty much had to hose myself off in the yard before I could even go inside to shower off the rest of it. If I didn't I'd drag so much dust in you could see the trail I left behind, and getting the stink out of my hair was no easy task. The things I did when I was young...sigh.

Well, being from the US I was taught primarily in imperial but I work in biopharma so I use metric with liquids and temperature all the time. When crafting or building something more practical I will switch between imperial and metric often time depending on which gives me a whole or otherwise simple number such as 20.5 mm or 10 inches, etc. I know it doesn't make much sense but, as I understand it, Canadians do that quite a lot so I don't feel too bad about it. They certainly seem to do pretty well as a country. Just us Americans who can't seem to introduce more metric in our system of measurements. Hopefully, we will get there someday leaving Burma and England as the only measurement holdouts. Fingers crossed we get there someday. ;}

@@adventuresincrafting2022 hahaha nar makes sense i do, do the same to i'm in australia so metric taught but imperial for whole numbers like ya say or i am doing it by eye haha Was just curious because i switch back and forth and i wonder if thats because schooling was metric but wargaming was imperial so i had both there naturally whereas a lot of the US is just fully imperial Building houses i dont know how they dont go insane haha 10 inches and a quarter of a half of a third of an inch ;) hashahahaha

I honestly dont know how builders dont just look at the other side of the tape measure 90 percent of them these days came standardised as having both hahaha i would much rather look at 24mm then 1/6th of a 4th of a 17th of an inch hahahaha
