Sci Fi Channel Promos (Nov/Dec 99) 

Those Message From The Future bumpers are hilariously accurate to today’s society. Aged like fine wine.

I never saw that Sci-fi Channel Y2k bumpers before and others before, it was freaking cool.

I miss these commercials on SyFy.

10:34 - The promo freaked me out; the show freaked me out when I was a baby. But I fought my fear of the show; it's pretty awesome at that time. I'm glad To relive this one memory and not be afraid anymore.

I miss this so much. What made it for me was not the actual movies or series, but everything in between. Just leave the channel playing 24/7 forever and get absorbed by another reality!

I used to watch the Wednesday night block of "Tales From the Crypt" every week. I love that commercial.

The Tales From the Crypt commercial freaked me out when I was little. But now that I'm grown up, I'm not scared of that anymore. I have to admit, it's a cool show.

Thank you! I was just starting my freshman year of college when those commercials first aired. Those Y3K commercials are pretty grim, especially that dolphin prediction. Looking back 20+ years later, I forgot how badass Scifi Channel was. My obsession with the channel started when I found out they had the rights to original DARK SHADOWS and ran them in chronological order twice every weekday! Even reruns of BELIEVE IT OR NOT hosted by Jack Palance. Their TWILIGHT ZONE marathons were summer classics. I wish you could post the pre-9/11 LAST SPOTTED commercials where SciFi shot faux amateur videos of alien activities around different landmarks. Sadly, one commercial had a group of tourists on a helicopter tour of Manhattan spotting a UFO buzzing by The Twin Towers. Good luck getting that posted on RU-vid...😎🇵🇷🇺🇸🗽🦂

The only thing missing was that TZ2K Chain Reaction promo from December of 1999.

I remember seeing these for the first time and I was enthralled. Its a shame they got rid of them, because they truly did the channel justice.... (the content sucked and after BSG, it does again today). I miss Exposure. That was my favorite show of all time.

I miss the old sci fi channel. It slowly started going down hill between 2007-2010
