I love that Tony was a giant supporter of Bruce when he was desperately trying to keep the Hulk from emerging, he treated him as human and trusted him to keep himself in check whenever he played around and tried to provoke (like with the taser he used). Whereas everyone else treated him as basically a walking nuke (they have the right to do so tbf) but Tony treating him normally helped Bruce break out of his shell and this newfound confidence bled into Hulk and helped his focus.
Someone made a video on why the Hulk decided to save Iron-Man when he was falling from space after he brought the missile to the Chitauri mothership. Tony was very kind to Bruce.
Bruce going in for a hug at 3:10 because he's been through so much crap and he probably never thought he'd see Tony again. Just comes to show how much they care about eachother because Tony was worried too.
I love that Bruce was clearly smiling and enjoying his time with Stark. He wasn't treated like a threat by Stark, and he brought a bit of light to the hulk situation.
Just when both Tony and Bruce thought they would be singled out on the Helicarrier for being absolutely mad scientists, they met each other and then this whole bromance kicks off.
This is literally the opposite of what their dynamic should be. They hate each other in the comics (except that weird moment in Civil War II when Tony acted like they were best friends after Bruce died when nearly every other interaction they've ever had says otherwise)
@@eagle_klaw_ dude marvel has always been about infinite timelines with different alterations, is it so hard to believe that one would exist where they are good friends?
@@anomaly_jackie you MCUtards use that lame ass excuse to justify any and all bastardizations of the source material. The multiverse is the laziest excuse for making a bad adaption.
@@GangstaStan010 Tony modified the bomb's framework, had it had its original framework it would have been way more spready outy that would have affected innocents like instead of more of a blast.
You can thank the super soldier serum as he a conducting an experiment that was meant to make him resistant to gamma radiation, except that it failed as the exposure to radiation causes Banner to turn into the green Goliath.
ultron was actually a completely separate interface! went ultron went online, he dismantled jarvis and then sort of integrated himself into the web. once he had taken his “protect earth” mission a little too far, tony was able to get jarvis back up and put him into the body ultron was building, who then became the vision
ya know, when bruce was having issues getting the hulk to come out i bet if he'd gotten hit really hard by one of the enemies hulk woulda popped out. couldnt let bruce die else he'd die too.
It might take a lot of hits to the point Banner might actually be in near death. Like remember in Thor Ragnarok when Banner jumped out of a ship and bellyflopped straight down the Asgard Bridge but Hulk still didnt come out right away? LMAO
Watching Stark/Banner work and interact in their little sci-tech world is just too delightful! Now that the MCU is moving into Phase 4 and stuff, I really wish I could go back to those ''primordial'' times of the franchise in the early 2010s, when the gang was still being formed. Maybe it's just me but I feel the franchise is becoming too spread out and lost focus since Thanos was the greatest threat for the better part of the last decade. But let's see what the future holds...
I have realized something watching this clip. Tony, as we all know is a visionary and likes to know all the threats and tries to prevent them. Here he doesn't really trust Bruce and keeps on testing him whether it is safe to keep him around. GENIUS!
FYI the coulomb barrier is a fancy way of saying physics really hates putting charged particles together. Electromagnetism means charged particles particles repel each other with a force of proportional to (charge)^2 / (separation)^2 once you get really close (and I do mean really close, about 10^-15m) to the nucleus a force called the strong nuclear force is even stronger and beats electromagnetism pulling the two nuclei together so they can fuse. However, the amount of energy is so crazy that not even the centre of the sun is sufficient. The solution is a weird quantum effect called quantum tunnelling which gives particles a probability of going through barriers classical physics says they can't. Stabilising quantum tunnelling makes no sense the entirety of quantum mechanics is built on inherent uncertainty. I.e. a perfect measurement is impossible. So if you can somehow stabilise quantum mechanics you just broke the last 100yrs of physics. I'm second year astrophysics and I haven't heard of heavy ion fusion. You can fuse heavier ions, which may be what they're referring to, but you get way more energy fusing hydrogen to helium than all other processes in the fusion chain combined (after iron it actually costs energy to fuse elements) so there isn't much reason why you would want to; plus the coulomb barrier is present in all fusion - it isn't anywhere near unique to heavy ions. Basically they did enough research to get some of the terminology right but still ended up talking utter nonesense
I mean it wasn't utter nonsense, Banner was right. You said it yourself, no one does heavy ion fusion, primarily because the coulomb barrier is so daunting for large nuclei. But if you can 'stabilise the coulomb barrier', then even heavy ion fusion becomes laughably easy
Tony does invent time travel ten years later so I dunno maybe it is possible for them. Bruce seemed to kind of take it as a no go, but then Tony was like but what if? Loki is walking around with the mind stone and the space stone, so using those might make it possible. Marvel comics is great at taking base scientific theories and then running crazy with them.
I mean... can you really ask for more research than that and have an MCU with half of the things we've seen in it? Even the Iron Man suits and Arc Reactors alone break so many basic principles that you can't just sidestep in anything like real physics.
I hope one day In the MCU we will get this scene again but not just with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner but also Peter Parker and Reed Richard's all In one room 😮 oh yeah we can't forget Beast
Bruce: Well if he could do that, he could achieve ion fusion with any nuclear reactor on the planet Tony: Finally, someone who speaks English Steve: Is that what just happened?
Do you have to admire this the fact that Tony said him Captain America had a falling out and are no more Bruce said I don’t care whatever difference you have you need to squash it because Thanos is coming and we need everybody
Yes bro !! I need this type of friend in my colony !! Bro my all friend doesnt understand any science !! If i explain them through science they just taunt me 😅 But i love those guys !!
"It's good to meet you Dr. Banner. I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster." What a thing to say to someone suffering with dissociative identity disorder. 😒 This line irked me when I first saw Avengers and still irks me. Incredibly insensitive. He's basically telling Bruce he's a fan of Bruce's dissociation, which is extremely emotionally and psychically draining, It's embarrassing, scary, and surreal. That 'enormous green rage monster' was Bruce's alter from a disorder caused by Bruce being br*t*lized as a child to the point his brain created alternate versions of himself to protect him. Hulk was a protector alter who came out to protect Bruce. I think he came out not just when Bruce was angry but mostly when Hulk perceived Bruce to be in danger. Hulk was a good guy. Considering Bruce does have dissociative identity disorder there is a high possibility that Bruce had other alters. I still think Bruce was exploited for his disorder and used only for Hulk. He was famous for having an incredibly rare and very disruptive disorder. The look on Bruce's face at 0:32 is exactly how I'd react. Like wow. I can't even imagine how caught off guard and hurt Bruce was by that statement. I am not a licensed psychologist but I was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder after struggling with it for over 30 years. Bruce, like those with actual D.I.D. don't wear it like a badge of honor. Bruce's case, like mine, was nearly fatal. Tony basically said he's a fan of the fact Bruce has a very rare lifelong disorder that CAN'T be medicated and requires intensive treatment to integrate all the parts to function as one unit. That is a really ignorant and disrespectful thing to say. Then She-Hulk comes out and it's like they completely left out Bruce's D.I.D altogether. 😮💨
@@GangstaStan010 !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for telling me this! I haven't seen She-Hulk. I just read a few complaints from others online saying the DID was left out and they were annoyed. It would be cool if She-Hulk showed Bruce healing from his trauma and in turn Hulk healing as well since he was the one on the frontlines of that trauma.
The Beatles were one of the most famous bands from the sixties, and they’re pretty well known today. They consisted of four members, who you might know: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison.
