yea it makes sense for mutants cuz they're meant to counter this kinda stuff, but for a science champ to do it feels like a cheap way to make them better

Unless I missed something about the debuffs being immune to AA reduction Kate and Cheelith should counter him fine with tranquilize. Plus any skill champ either AA reduction like black cat, X bones and the others.

idm the leaders design since although he hinders skill champs he also gives you another way to remove his debuffs and he gives the skill class as a whole benefits to perform better against him so using any skill will be the best choice but certain ones will be better where as on the other hand serpent hinders a lot of the mystics without giving them any benefits making him impossible to beat without using a handful of champs. plus the leader actually seems like he’ll be useful on attack and not created for the sole purpose of being a pain to fight

I think we needed defenders like this because defenders like Korgs and Attumas and Nick furys, Sassys dont really do anything, we need defenders that turn off things, that are difficult to figure out. Defenders were too easy like the ones I just mentioned especially for BGs I dont mind these kind of defenders it's fun to figure them out and feels good when we eventually get the solos IMO anyway lol.❤

Don't think her Cleanse will work against him. As they said these are severe debuffs and can't be purified or cleansed. He's gonna be a menace on AW Lane 4, nodes 22 & 31 as a defender.

I think attacking wise he looks like fun and actually presents a very different way to fight (very similar to how they tried with Sable), but the worst part is he's going to have next to no value as an attacker even in his targetted matchups. There's such an upswing in the "healing can't be reversed, if it would be reversed, it is reduced to 0" node. Every matchup recently where I've thought "Void would be great here", it seems to be present, and someone like Sinister can't have their heal rate altered at all. Kabam are just tying themselves in knots and making us feel like idiots when we challenge it

They might as well use the tags and say if a champ is older than 3 months it won't work instead of coming up with new stupid names for buffs and debuffs

Disagree, Severe debuffs make the game more interesting, and should have been introduced earlier. Fighting against Leader even encourages MM, heavy, Sp3 reliant champs more, plus for me 😉

Everytime they do a design like this it just makes a too complicated game even more complicated. I really feel like the abilities in this game are just too convoluted. You have to keep track of if it’s a power drain, burn or steal and what champions are immune to what. They create abilities like red skull’s that he’s only nullify immune to champion abilities not nodes. They create abilities that only work on certain class champions like negasonic or don’t work on certain classes like slow or a ton of champions and abilities. Certain masteries and mechanics work sometimes and not other times. Then like you said, there are just so many ways to stop auto block or evade or miss and some work sometimes and not other times. This game is getting confusing for me, i can’t even imagine how a new player would feel. I’m curious what kabams numbers are for new players joining mcoc and continuing to play it because i know, from my personal experience, i’ve had real world friends start to play this game then quit because it was too much.

They're doing it with nodes too... Reversed controls node? - if you're immune to RC take damage.... Poison node? - If you're fighting with a robot take shock instead.... A bunch of buffs node? - nullify immunity and the buffs cannot have their AA redused.... A bunch of debuffs node? - take damage whenever you purify a debuff.... At this point why do we even rank champs up when we cannot use them when a specific utility is needed.. :D

Why again make a defender whose debuffs can't be purified or cleansed and thus making majority of skill class useless against a science champ just so that 2 months later again a counter champ is released and money is milked. Photon, Bullseye etc and now this.. Too many defenders made nowadays too many.. Inequity will make viable champs do hardly any damage.. censored feelings** Just so tired of this dog shit
