When i was watching this and it got to the part about the sea i was starting to get worried because my stepdad is a non believer and so is my mum and ive heard them say (before i reverted) that religion is just bullshit and i would find it offensive cuz its just rude but like i feel like when you say something like that allah is all hearing and all knowing and theyll get punished for it

@@meganmcintyre3077 we as believers will always be tested with different obstacles. Whatever they say or believe will only effect their deeds and judgment. Your situation reminds me of 3 things. One of the only times that we dont have to listen to our parents is when there is a difference in their believe. The second thing is that there is a verse for those who doesnt believe you can just say, to you your religion/faith/believe and to me mine. And the third thing is that one who is guided by Allah, no one can misguide and one who is let astray no one can guide. So just be kind to them and be strong in your faith. Indeed, Allah is all hearing and all knowing.

Right, except the Quran says that the Earth and sky were joined and pulled apart (21:30). This is very problematic because as you know the Earth did not exist at the beginning, and also this is a common local creation myth (Sumerian god Enlil did exactly that). And in 2:29 Allah says that he finished the Earth and THEN turned to the sky - which is the wrong order. It seems like Allah doesn't know how the universe and Earth was made, which is a sign to me that the Quran is a book of very limited 7th century knowledge and ideas. It also says that the Moon and Sun each have an orbit while mentioning day and night, so it's talking about the Sun going around the Earth, a common view at the time. There are trillions of stars and trillions of planets with day and night, so how is just one of them a sign? This is how planets form, spinning around stars, nothing amazing about it, basic physics.

Some people worshipped their motion and went around their temples seven times in the ccw direction, in Yemen for example, and Muhammad and the Quran adopts these ideas. Yes, the Sun is orbiting, however that is not mentioned anywhere in the Quran. The Quran talks about the orbits of the Sun and Moon in terms of day and night, so it presents a geocentric system. The Sun's orbit takes about 220,000,000 years, and has nothing to do with day and night. So, why are you mentioning that? And recently it is discovered that sun is traving with all the planets. If in the seventh century the myth was about sun and moon is revolving around earth but not in a single verse it is mentioned that they are revolving arond earth. And why QURAN use the word kullun which at least means three or more object if ALLAH has to mentioned about only sun and moon "ealaa hadin sawa" Which means both must be used why kullun which means all is used. But everything came from space, what is your point? The entire Earth and basically all the atoms in your DNA were made inside stars. So, this statement makes little sense. Do you find it interesting that the Quran re-states a well known local creation myth in 21:30 when it says that the Earth and sky were pulled apart (the god Enlil did that in Sumerian mythology)? The Earth of course did not exist at the very beginning, not for ~9 billion years, so this verse is very wrong. Why would Allah mention a silly myth versus saying that the universe started from a tiny point? People couldn't tell either idea apart back then, but now we know that the Quran is wrong.

We are not made from water though, animals on Earth, as you should know, are carbon-based. Our DNA does not have water molecules in it. We need water to survive and there is a lot of water in our bodies, but you can dry us up, removing all the water and what's left behind is our DNA which has carbon etc, but no water. Also, that verse contradicts itself in the Quran MANY times, is it water, mud, dust, clay, earth, nothing, a person? 11:61 It is He Who hath produced you from the earth 15:26,28,33 We created man from sounding clay 17:61 ... Thou didst create from clay 32:7 He began the creation of man from clay 19:67 We created him before out of nothing 23:12 We created man from a product of wet earth (loam) 23:12 Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay) 38:71 I am about to create a mortal out of mire 3:59 He created (Jesus) out of dust 30:20 He created you from dust 35:11 Allah did create you from dust .... 30:19 It is He who brings out the living from the dead 39:6 He created you from a single Person (see also 4:1) It sounds very very much like Allah didn't know what we were made from. Notice that none are carbon based. The Quran is simply re-stating old creation myths, just like it does in 21:30 when it says that the Earth and sky were separated (in Sumerian myths the god Enlil did that), and of course the Earth did not exist at the beginning.

@@ismailhajat Hi. No my friend, you're understanding basic biology incorrectly. Yes, as I mentioned there is a lot of water in our bodies, as there is inside of say fish and plants. However, if you dehydrate a human, a fish and a plant by removing all the water, what is left? How can you tell them apart? They will have very different DNA, which is carbon based. If you don't understand that, then you don't understand biology. Keep in mind that the idea of things being made of water is an ancient one. The Greeks philosophers talked about this at length (the four elements) and many claimed that water was the primordial element. You can squeeze a bug, you can see the blood inside animals etc, and easily conclude that the liquids (water) is what we are made of. However, this is not what we are made of on the actual biological level. Hope that makes sense :)

Also the Prophet mentioned that no one will come to the day of judgment better prepared than those who have said that a 100 times a day or those who have added more. Jesus (peace be upon him and all the prophets sent down to us.) Used to wash parts of himself and then prays, and he used to spend nights and early mornings praying to god. What do you mean by the truth? I have studied astrophysics for many years, have read the Quran and can see many basic mistakes in it. For example, 21:30 states that the Earth and sky were joined, and then separated. First, this is exactly what the local (Sumerian) creation myths say (god Enlil separated them) and second, everyone knows that the Earth did not exist at this time (it took ~9 billion years before it started to form). Yet, all the classical Islamic scholars say that the Earth existed and it didn't rain on it until it was separated. Then in 2:29 the Quran says that Allah finished the Earth and THEN turned to the sky, this is the wrong order. Again, Islamic scholars agree with this verse and say that the Earth is the foundation and hence needs to be finished first... This is exactly opposite of what actually happened. So, Allah doesn't know how he made the universe. How can the Quran be the truth then?

Scientists, doctors, scholars with professional degrees have all studied this religion to the most minute detail to look for mistakes like you but failed to do so, but science ended up being what the Quran stated many years ago without any form of technology whatsoever.

@@theastronomer5800 with all due respect bro i am no position to answer those questions as i don’t have the correct education within this field but i’ve lived my life studying this faith, with all the ups and downs i’ve endured in my life this religion is the only faith that honestly got me my peace back. At the end of the day it’s all about inner peace and what the instincts feel towards their own belief. Everyone will die one day and only God has the keys to unseen. I respect what you believe and i pray that God guides you to the truth whatever you may think that is. The Quran has many other scientific miracles that has been backed my science which i’m sure you are aware of such has the human embryology etc. But like i said if you go onto read a scripture that’s the word of God with the intention of looking for mistakes throughout your life then that’s up to you, but if you read it with an open heart then this book may change you. Maurice Bucaille was an example of a man who was born Christian who had several credentials that government leaders would seek help from about science. He came across one miracle and was mindblown, he went onto spending his own time to study Arabic just to read the Quran from his OWN perspective to look for faults himself personally as he couldn’t believe himself that a book with so much detail can be written by a man in Arabia who wasn’t literate. One was where government officials found a body of a king in Egypt who is identified as Pharaoh, the government got Maurice Bucaille who was a non muslim at the time to do autopsy on the body on how he died, low and behold he discovered that this body of the Pharaoh was drowned due to the salt grains on his body indicates that he was drowned. (Story of Moses and the children of Israel and the splitting of the sea). When he went to Arabia to speak about this finding a muslim told him that we already know of this as it says in the Quran specifically about Pharaoh who was a tyrant ruler “So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Ayaat” [Yunus 10:92] This obviously led to Maurice to go onto studying the Arabic language to read onto himself and EVENTUALLY became Muslim due to the other scientific miracles within this book. He went onto creating his own book which is called “The Bible, Quran and Science” which was released in 1976 and sold over 100,000 copies within the first week. Maurice Bucaille was no ordinary man he was a man of intelligence and high understanding as he was a Medical Doctor and a senior surgeon in France. Maurice is one of 100,000 or even more to come to this faith after studying it with an open mind and heart. Have a blessed day my brother I appreciate this conversation we had :)

Earth meaning in our universe, not this planet. Meaning This universe and heaven was combined and slit apart. Could be another big bang theory. God knows best, we can learn everything about the universe with upmost certainty in heaven, but i doubt we would be interested in it lol.

Read the tafsirs on verse 21:30, they all talk about the Earth existing at the beginning and it didn't rain on it, eg: Ibn ‘Abbâs: (known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece) We did not send down to it a drop of rain...and then separated them and singled them out from each other through rain Ibn Kathir: i.e. in the beginning they were all one piece, attached to one another and piled up on top of one another This idea comes from the well known local (Sumerian god Enlil separated the Earth and sky) creation myths, and is of course wrong. Then in 2:29 the Quran gets the order wrong because it says that Allah finished the Earth and THEN moved to the sky. The sky/universe, galaxies and stars were already formed for billions of years before the Earth started to form... So, Allah has no clue how the universe started.

Of course the universe preexisted but nothing as such like the earth existed- or at least nothing habitable for the likes of us, then the earth and the heavens were made. Hope that makes sense

God is intelligent in his way of dispatching information. You may not find this information in older books because God knew in there time these people didn't have too much depth in the knowledge of science. At the same time God knew the Nation of Muhammad was going to have people with too much depth in science such that they will be able to understand the verses which talk about science and even prove the science with research.

This might seem long, but please read it as it will explain alot. In Islamic belief, Christiansity was a temporary religion like Judaism, Jesus (PBUH) was a prophet sent only for this specific time period in Europe, because ancient rome worshipped the wrong gods and stuff, etc. Christianity was also one of the many religions made by Allah temporarily. For all we know, there could have been prophets in China, Meso America, etc, it was just that Christianity and Judaism grew a bit more, which is why some texts there were in the quran too(I'll talk about this later). But Christianity, like Judaism, later grew alot and lasted alot more than normal, and so, because it wasn't supposed to last long and wasn't protected by Allah, it got corrupt and stuff form translations, corrupt leaders (catholic church doing bad things in medieval times) and basically Christianity just aged and wasn't accurate anymore. Islam, was the last religion from Allah. And the prophet was Muhammed(PBUH). Because it was the last, it ment that it was for all time periods, for all of the world. Because of this, the quran is protected by allah and only in Arabic. And Moses, Jesus, Noah, Joseph, David, etc(PBUH them all), were all mentioned, because they were important, and the other religion were not as major and important so they weren't mentioned. Funfact: One of the reasons (atleast according to the perspective of muslims) that Jesus (PBUH) was viewed as a God, was because of idolizism. People saw Jesus (PBUH) and loved him so much they acted like he was a God, to believing he was a god. This is why idolism is harm in Islam, and why there is no pictures of Muhammed (PBUH)

Sister/brother,Islam is the only true religion. Im not believing in Islam blindly but I have proofs about it. The Christianity is false Jesus never claimed divinity,and he said he didn't know the hour but in Bible it is written that God knows everything so how can be Jesus God ? Please don't say things straight out like "Christianity is false" infront of Christians. Its not like they will instantly forget what they were taught and listen to you. You need to slowly present info and relate a BIT to what they were taught.

I don't know if you have read his book, but I found it to be VERY weak in arguments. He almost never said what the actual science says on a deeper, only that the verses "agree" with science. He also never quote what any of the tafsir scholars said, and they had a much better understanding of the classical Arabic. For example, when he mentions 21:30, he doesn't emphasize that the verse talks about the Earth and makes it sound like the Earth was there at the beginning. This is exactly what all the classical tafsir scholars say - they say it existed and was joined with the sky and it didn't rain on it, until it was separated from the sky. He also doesn't mention that exactly the same idea is stated in Sumerian myths (god Enlil separated them). The verse contradicts the Big Bang because the Earth of course did not exist, and to say it was separated from the sky/space makes no sense because the Earth takes up space. This kind of information would be useful, putting the text in historical context to see where the story comes from.
