you don't have to barre the string you can use your 1st finger, first fret and 2nd string 2nd finger on first fret and 1 st string then 3rd finger 2nd fret 3rd string and 4th finger on 3rd fret 4th string. I hope this helps is not I'm sorry ! :)
Beth Chapman hahahaha thanks, but that was quite some time ago, i got over it, i can do most barre chords now, still significantly harder than the others, but manageable.
I haven't even gotten my ukulele in yet and by watching these videos i'm already understanding the strumming patterns and some of the notes and I'd like to say you make it easy to understand. I'm not say ukulele is easy you just make it easy to understand.
Pleassseeeee please teach Never Too Late by Three days Grace. It's a special song to me and I really can't find that many people who know it, and when they do, they can never explain how to do it well enough for me to play it.
You can also try DUDUDUDU but with an accent in the downs, it sounds perfect with the first verse and you don't leave that quiet spaces in the strumming

Might I suggest "Doctor" by Finish Ticket? It's a great song, but not many people know it... So if you'd rather I give you a different more popular suggestion, I would have to request "Cough Syrup" by Young The Giant. The two bands sound similar, but Young The Giant has more popularity :) Thanks for taking the time to make such great tutorials! You help me get better at playing even the songs I already know!~
