Sulloway’s Born to Rebel is an interesting essay on the topic to openness to experience. It’s. a good complement to discussions of institutional and academic inertia.

A philosophical discussion of form following functional quantization, cause-effect fields interference consequences, and the alternative discrete Disproof Methodology of numerological relative-timing differentiates, it's all very hyperfluid squishy-ness, and perfectly thoughtless fundamentally. Or a rational and reasonable approach would say that the philosophical integration of self-defining temporal superposition relativism has to "stand alone" and be justified by relevant observation. Eg "Evidence of Absence is not Absence of Evidence" in the Eternity-now Aether Actuality Holographic Principle Perspective. The instantaneous recognition of a toy hidden and revealed to a baby by a parent playing hide and seek illuminates the point, that the recognition of circumstances is a process of repetion, rigorous demonstration of available facts and sharing a sense-in-common communication of self-defining temporal properties. Easy when spread out over a long-term relationship, and too simple to ever reveal the distinction between actual nothing and the vision of empty space from which an imagined memory is absolutely absent because it's pure relative motion alignment and relative-timing ratio-rates of probabilistic frequency density-intensity amplitudes. This is a perceptions paradox problem, aka Measurement Problem of Physics or Polar-Cartesian self-defining location analysis. (No one's fault, or it's everyone's by default)
When the old generation of physicists, chemists, economists die, then you get a new physics, a new chemistry, but still will have the old economics because unlike physics and chemistry the general public thinks they understand economics. 😆😒🤔
