Saw Scocha at the Brunton Theatre tonight - fantastic show. Gutted that they didn't play this, the heart has been knocked out of them, and me - we're the 45% boys, can't wait till the day we're singing this loud and proud again.
I feel proud and Scottish every time I hear this song even though I am not Scottish!! Maybe I was a Scot in a former life... Really great song and really great pipes in the end!
of course you are........everyone that loves scotland is welcome. This song is about a proud scotland as a nation.............a nation that can have people from all nationalities in its midst
the english ubsurpers yes, there are plenty of english living in Scotland that are happy and made their live here (and even voted yes in the referendum) ^^
Scottish cowards. You had afraid to independence. Had afraid to be free. They have no honor. Haiti has more courage than you. They sold their freedom for a few pounds.
alberto5302 we're a more honorable country than some we are definitely not cowards as many have tried and failed to take our country away from us and no matter how many bigoted comments u make ul never change the brave proud and honorable name of Scotland and its many non Scottish citizens
Many flower, many fervently for singing the anthem but I do not recall another case in the history of mankind, in which a people rejects independence for fear. Hollywood movies have always been scots braves, zealous for their traditions and freedom. Now I see that that's just Hollywood fables. Today the world sees a cowardly society who prefer to be slaves humiliated that the course of history. Slaves of those who invaded their lands usurped their property, their outraged women and subjected by force. Today we can see that the Scots are cowards. Haiti, Bangladesh, South Sudan, Djibouti, have more courage and dignity. The Scots have proven to be slaves and weak. What a difference with the Irish !!!
