The sad thing is, this happens in real life. Mother in laws who cant stay out of their son's family's lives, always have something to say. They are freaking adults, parents are their for guidance not control.
My father used to be far worse than that. Always treated my mother like a outsider and scolding her saying she has bad habits from her family. Then one day I couldn’t take it and pissed them off. 😤They say I’m the exact copy of my father so I when they got irritated I said I’m just like my father that’s why my personality is 💩 .
This is why it's so scary to get married into an asian family especially if you're a woman, your in laws will treat you horribly if you are not their ideal for their son. My mom experienced this, my grandma and my aunts treated my mom like sht when my dad isn't around. And I don't want to experience that too, that's why i tell myself i'm better off single.
A man should always trust and stand by his wife, I would definitly leave my future husband if he remains quiet when Iam being scolded or badmouthed....Also, if he cared just a bit about his wife, he could have at least moved out from his parents' house and go live with his wife and daughter in another nice place far away from his frustrating mom....My blood pressure really goes up when I see and hear about such in laws issues and incidents....Thanks for uploading :) Hwaiting

I have a friend who has in-laws like this, the mother-in-law is fine, kind to her, but the rest of the family always bad-mouths her and the husband ain't doing anything. It was so bad that her own children are brainwashed and starts to verbally abuse her, one even hit her. They all think their mom is useless or can't provide for them, the sisters-in-law belittles her for not being a college graduate, whilst her husband (their brother) is a police man. They think she's not "fit" to be with their brother. It's infuriating coz my friend is the one who juggles businesses and other small jobs to provide for her family and her children's luxury (new phones, laptop, gadgets etc.) Her husband's wages isn't enough so she carries part of the financial stuff while starting a business, and running the household. She even washes her daughters' underwear. And she gets all these hurtful words and treatment. It was so bad that she wanted to live separately (they live in a family compound where their houses are next to each other) but the in-laws and her husband objects. Close family ties are good, but everything that's too much is toxic.

Oh I watch this drama. It was very sad. She humiliated by her mother in-law her child is a adoptive from the orphanage but it's worthy to watch. You wont regret it, at the end they become a complete family she forgive her husband and the inlaws became good to her.
