Really good example of showing use of the oscilloscope. Don't worry about video setup for now. Even if you have more cameras, you should to switch cameras in say OBS studio, or record everything, then later cut in some editing software. Aside video, then you need to think about audio, so one day perhaps radio microphone or just long wire with lapel mic. Or whatever. Things can go very complicated very soon if you want mimic real video studio.

For this DC motor, regenerative braking is difficult to implement because when you switch off, it continues to produce voltage as if another (less than) 12V battery is in parallel with first one, just disconnected negative part. So, in order to brake, you need additional capacitance where you will store extra energy. On your current setup, you can't clearly see, but if you use some flywheel, then you can observe currents for longer time. Whole braking circuit should has separate PWM module, so that does not brake when you throttle down, but only when you want. So, in the case of regenerative braking, you need some sort of boost drive connected to motor as generator and convert falling voltage into something useful. Or re-charging battery, or as spare energy source for next running cycle as a boost energy source.

Very informative, I really don't understand most of what you said but I will definitely do my research and try to learn. The whole regenerative breaking thing is something ive never really heard of until recently

@@EdwinFairchild Yes, slowly but surely. Exactly like programming MCUs, at first it feels, sounds and looks difficult, but during time it become easier. I wish to find some time to do some basic electronic tutorial, but currently my brain is about to explode... C/C++, bit of Python, Java and VHDL... got to the point that everything begins to mix together and does not makes sense. Or I need to take a break, or... I can't explain how much I enjoy watching your programming tutorials. No matter how it feels insignificant to you, but for me it is great help. I bet to other people too.

@@EdwinFairchild Thanks sir. In SPI you can do a simple project on SD card. You are my best tutor. Keep up the good job.
