Dear god this remix... I have very few words to say how pleasing this is to my ears, Drazo. Let me be honest, I was never the hugest fan of GTI but I was aware of it's godlike soundtrack and how atmospheric it was but I was also aware it's not like Explorer's emotional soundtrack or Super's varied set of tracks. Scorching Desert is one of the few tracks I never heard and I was looking forward to this because deserts are my personal favorite level theme mainly because it truly feels open unlike other themes and the fact that you are alone under a scorching sun with no clear path to turn to. I loved how you and anyone you would work with takes a spin on these tracks and turn them into something unlike anything anyone would knew about. Sorry to ramble like that, I just want you composers to know that I supported your work and will continue to do for your next projects. Thank God someone appreciates Gates to Infinity & its OST and makes remastered/remixed/orchestrated versions of it. I found a lot of Rescue Team, Explorers and Super Mystery Dungeon remixes but Gates is rare, which is unfortunate because it's my favorite PMD OST.
@@drazorleaf My all-time favorite theme is 'Glacier Palace - Western Spire'. The atmosphere in this track not only feels icy but also very dramatic, mysterious, melancholic, hopeless and dark to me. I listen to the 30 minute extended version of it, every time I am in a deep depression. The theme helps me to think a lot about everything that confuses me atm and it often leads me to a point where I start quiting with my self-pitying and get up again. It convinced me to think "The way out of the pain lies in the pain". There are other themes from this soundtrack that have similar effects on my mental health I have a deep connection with, like 'Theme of Hope', 'Withered Savanna', 'Scorching Desert' and 'Sympathy and Sincerity'. The overall theme of the game gave me so much power in my darkest times and the most relatable character to me was Virizion. I lost all hope in believing in any kind of love and became a bitter, lonely person after I've got the talent of trusting the wrong people that didn't give me any forms of respect and instead made doubt myself for too long. Gates to Infinity gave me more hope for a better life in my future than any other therapy. And that's why I feel sad that this game gets overlooked and unappreciated too often within the fan-base. Phenomenal cover of one of the most transportational tracks from Gates to Infinity. Feels befitting of a movie. Great effort from the collabees, too. Never stop creating.
This is my favorite PDM remix ever, it’s soooo good!! This was already my favorite song in GTI and you made it even better!! GTI is one of my absolute favorite games of all time, I’m so happy to see it get some recognition :D
-Ok so I saw the sheet music for this on Twitter and was like, it's Northern Desert. Oops. This shows how unfamiliar I am with GTI...- Ok never mind on further consideration that was another score I saw haha I really love the violin work in this!! The synthesiser also melded quite well with the orchestra; made for a cool texture in some places! Great work you guys :D
Finished going through the megamix, and there was definitely a lot of incredible work from everyone there, but I think my personal favorite was this one, incredible work to you three! I think the one thing I was disappointed by on seeing the video was that there was an intro and outro. It means that I can't listen to it on loop very well while working on university stuff or editing something. As well, I'm someone who streams and I enjoy putting a lot of music I enjoy into playlists that come on on stream, some chill tunes for all to enjoy and if anybody asks about what's currently playing I can recommend some hella shnice creators out there. But if it's transitioning between themes and an intro or outro has to play for 10-20 seconds before getting back to dedicated music in the playlist I have to apologize to my viewers for, y'know, having 10-20 seconds that disrupts the flow of the chill music we were listening to. So I've kinda just accepted that I shouldn't put stuff with intros or outros into my playlists, even if I really really enjoy it. One alternative could be still having an intro and outro but they're just mute animations that play over the music in question and don't add any additional runtime. It's not like you have to listen to me, this is just my own take and I'm just one of countless people who've listened in. Clearly not really any others here to have brought it up. So it's not like you have to listen to this one person, but I can tell ya it would definitely make a world of a difference for people like me who use RU-vid as their one music platform and don't use others like spotify.

Man I don't think I have ever been so happy for a channel to show up in my recommendations like I was a week ago when your channel showed up I love PMD. I even played your dark crater cover for a D&D background track and people were too caught up in the music to even notice that it was a PMD cover, exceptional covers, great channel I have to ask, is there a chance for great canyon in the future? I love a good pan flute.
