You are not wrong. I'm currently reading the novels. It's like I'm reading a fanfiction. The storyline is just that cheesey and cliche. The pacing is fast and the author adss is new elements and characters, so it's not boring. Rushed through 10 volume.

in the manga he didnt just kick the ball and score a goal, kaede also tripped and fell when she tried to dodge and he caught her as well, which makes more since when she says he saved her in a later scene

bruh i thought he was extra in the anime but he was even more extra in the manga?? alls he gotta do was catch the ball lol or smack it away, or pull the girl out the way. no "modest" person would go the extra length of back flipping into the air and scoring...nah Yuuya aint as innocent as he seems. dude was doing the most to impress these girls.

I really dislike that they removed some of the lines and moments from the writing about Kaede. I understand that Kaori is likely the focus character in the real world, with maybe an exception being otherworlders, going forward. But removing a lot of those scenes from Kaede removes the impetus of focusing on her character at all. Like they even downgraded this scene from the manga to make it less rediculous. In the human world characters like her matter a lot to him so it just seems weird to neuter her personality/dialogue wise.

My biggest question. Would everyone treat Yuuya this way if he was still his original size. He still would’ve been accepted in the school but would he have been bullied by these people 🤔 so are these people genuine or just wolves in sheep’s clothing.

I really don't think any of these dub voices fit lol. I watched the first episode dubbed and everything just felt so off, so I reluctantly just decided to watch it subbed. I normally like watching these throwaway Isekai dubbed though lol.
