About two hours before I watched this reading on Saturday, I had received an evite from a coworker to a get together at their house on Sunday. I work with psychopaths. These people are after each other to push one another out of their job and have their friends placed in these roles. The pay is astronomically high. I mean, we are paid a fortune for what we do. Still, not enough for the psychological toll and energy drain that we face on a daily basis. I am well aware that I am always a target. These people would love nothing more than to push me out, to make up any reason, so that they can elevate a friend into my role. They've been floating around the party idea for two weeks. No way that I am dumb enough to spend time with these people in a setting that is not monitored. When we are at work, there are cameras, microphones, sensors, and guards monitoring everything. I have to go through six checkpoints before I can sit at my desk. Six checkpoints where if I fail authentication I can be shot on the spot. In an unmonitored environment, they could all say that I said something or did something and it will be many against me. Of course, I will be the one to lose. I've been at this since I was recruited while in high school way back in 1989. I am no novice. Needless to say, I will not be at the party.

1 thing about a true scorpio, especially November Scorpio, we daf if people don't like us, we don't even go anywhere when we get invited, we don't like people and even if they'll succeed in getting us out of the house, everyone will be so surprised at our antisocial antics that they wont even be bothered to call the cops or whoever.
