To plan and to prepare was my cup of tea when very young, but it evaporated later on, in the decades of my life when I plan nothing and go by inner guidance of the moment. It has to do with the change of my life philosophy and relying on the Creator to guide me and my intuition. Sniffing the right moment for action suits me better than planning ahead of time. I am last day Scorp, being on the Scorp Sag cusp, and with Moon & Mercury in Sag, maybe not your typical Scorp.
@@blackpearl8574 At a certain point I realized I had planned enough times and had enough data now to just kinda passively run the 'planning' simulation at all times. As long as something unique or unexpected or high stakes isn't happening, I can kinda just understand and be OK with the potential outcomes in the horizon. For me, as I grew older, this is what tamped down that "I MUST KNOW EVERYTHING BEFOREHAND" energy.
One of my closest friends is a Scorpio rising. I see a lot of this in her, but what really hit home was when you talked about Scorpios having trouble accepting that not everything is pre-planned or a conspiracy--sometimes, things just happen. She's a very spiritual person and believes everything happens for a reason and really struggles when she doesn't know why something happened to her or when she doesn't know the meaning behind an action, phrase, event, etc. Nothing can truly be spontaneous for her. It is both a strength when she can see the deepest meanings of things and be quite profound but also a hindrance when she feels lost at sea without knowing the purpose. What a great episode.

Many Scorpio of our age are retrograde in Scorpio Mars 6th placements. Think of a bow and arrow. Mars in retrograde especially on Scorpio is slow and very direct. This makes us more focused and less abusive in our wieldings

As always, good to hear from Chris and his amazing Guests! 💚 I’m Cancer Ascendant with my ruler in Scorpio. Both my Grandmother and Mother have Moon in Scorpio. I feel the effects of transits most from the Scorpio. I wish I had other planets than Moon to be in this placement, but I accept is as a generational heritage and definitely don’t want to lean into detrimental qualities of this placement.
I'm a scorpio had a capricorn boss I had great respect for him because his goal was to bring our place of work to it's greatest posible potential. He was straight forward set our goals and looked at every situation as how does this help us reach our goals. Hard work cooperation, acceptance, look for each others assets and use thise to help reach our goals.

It’s funny how placement of other planets with sun scorpios are different my dad, mom and me all born 10/30 and my daughter 11/10 it’s fun we can all read each others minds and “speak” with out words to each other. We each have different Scorpio reactions to the same situation.

I am Nov 17th, 1991 (born in Australia though 😅), I share the same 3 planets in Scorpio, although they are in my 4th house. I also have a Pisces Moon (8th house) and a Cancer Ascendant. 🌊🦂🐟🦀 These are some words/references that I relate to Scorpio: armour, Martial Arts, a warrior in a garden (making poor Taurus the gardener in a war), having thick skin, intensity, deeply passionate, an anger that can be calm like a bomb, Zen, magnetic, determined, animal instinct, mysterious, enjoying the darker side of music, vengeance (even if that's living your best life, knowing Karma will take care of the rest). I can't leave here without mentioning the movie Kill Bill (I'm convinced Beatrix Kiddo would have a wild Scorpio stellium!) and Deadpool (the antihero who wears a back and red suit, with a painfully sarcastic, twisted sense of humor and there is always brutality, death and destruction wherever he goes. Still middle of the episode, but I feel like with Scorpio emphasis is heavily on finding meaning. That's behind all the why's and seriousness, and trying to peek behind the scenes and unravel the mysteries. Second point that came to mind is fixed signs and ego, and Scorpios battlefield being inner realm. Scorpio battles themselves, their own ego relentlessly and is always trying to healthily or unhealthily conquer themselves, so they can be reborn and be rid of their old selves. I think that process is behind snake-scorpio-eagle-phoenix cycle.
I totally Love being everything Scorpio & the intensity & depth that comes as such. I’ve certainly covered all aspects of being a Scorpio man intimately & through the intense highs & lows by being open & honest I’ve learnt so much about myself as a physical & Spiritual being. Best sign I feel for an individual wishing to uncover their own inner & external truths entirely. Totally at best & happiest when moving through life when in harmony & balance with my Scorpion traits. Most important suggestions that I could offer living with the Scorpio energies is to be as often as possible in a focused state of self awareness & being accountable & open to the advice from others especially Loved one’s when they see something that has been said or done that affected their feelings. Paying attention to others feelings in a compassionate & considerate manner was often challenging because as a Scorpio I can talk about anything & no conversation is ever difficult. Having the ability to speak so deeply I found it also came with a slight lack of empathy at times towards others & more of an expectation that they should be more in control of their own sensitivities & emotions. Softening & checking in on the ego has also become vitally important to maintain a balanced self. Life is never deep enough being Scorpio & not always having someone able to reach the same depths was at times disappointing & having to then move through that dissatisfaction quickly & accept another missed opportunity. Definitely got to be comfortable with intensity because those intensities can sometimes be exhausting even being a Scorpio! Not sure other signs actually realise this about us lol 😂 Also not being afraid to work on the darker shadow aspects of self from a Spiritual point of view I feel has been the most inspirational aspect of being a Scorpio because it allowed me to look at myself & by going within & doing the work necessary so as to balance my energies & ultimately move towards finding that purer Love of self that I incarnated with at birth before I allowed the attachments of my human experiences to take hold often in negative perspective which took me further & further into a sense of unworthiness. Which we have all done within our lives through the responses we choose out of our personal experiences. Scorpios have the depth & patience & the knowledge to find the path back to remembering the unconditional Love of the Creator that every human being (any sign) originates from. That for me is what I meant earlier by a missed opportunity when in communication with another who is unable to reach deeper. Dark energies can be stereotyped as a bad thing when in fact it’s the opposite because it’s our dark shadow energies that are the triggers/the teachers which are actually opportunities helping us to rediscover our self worth & the Love which is our birth right. So absolutely go deep guys if you can because you’re all so worth it 💚🙏
My ascendant lord is Pluto, and I have great aspects to mars (men) and Jupiter (luck). As Pluto is danger and death, I never feel afraid in dangerous situations involving men. I walk alone downtown and in my neighborhood at night and feel like I embody the saying "I am the night". Physically, I feel very safe and relaxed with sketchy characters and just with men in general. Conversely, my Pluto is squaring Venus, and the only time I've been slapped was by a woman, and the only times I've been in car accidents have been with women.

Really loved this conversation - thank you! My partner happens to be a Scorpio sun (Aries rising, Virgo moon), yet I am much more emotional than he is, including outwardly emotive. Example - I've never seen him cry, but I cry regularly. I'm a double Taurus, with moon in Aquarius. I wonder what other aspects in the chart might point to emotionality & sensitivity? I’m sun Libra, moon Pisces and ascendant Scorpio. I feel that my Libra and Pisces are quite timeless in their evolution, they are now quite the same as they were 15 years ago, especially Libra. But my Scorpios evolution is quite fast and fascinating.
I have Pluto in the 3rd house and Chiron, I do struggle with paranoia sometimes but I'm pretty self aware about it. I have noticed that I am extremely aware of systemic issues, psychology, and ego. The why/if and the likelihood of someone being against me, it is difficult to fight the thought of everything going to hell and no one truly being on my side but I'm definitely not going to give up on healing.
Great episode, not that I'm biased haha.. As a contrast to the Northern Hemisphere's weather in Scorpio season, in the Southern Hemisphere Scorpio season is when we start to get warm nights - appropriate for the sign of nocturnal Mars 🙂
So I have a Scorpio moon and three Gemini placements mercury, Venus and Mars with a conjunction between Venus and Mars being inconjunct to my Scorpio moon. I notice that Scorpio can be so in their mind about some thing, and Gemini can be that same way. They both can take thoughts and ideas and turn them into some thing that they’re just not. It’s almost as if Gemini is so up in the air that they lose their sense of reality and Scorpio is so deep and immerse that they lose their sense of reality.
I am a Leo and find Scorpios very kind in general. But I am currently experiencing a situation with a Scorpio who is very hot and cold. I seek friendship with him but he is giving me nothing in return. There is a part of me that says let him be, and another that knows we have something. I am not the super controlling Leo, as I am more the shy Leo. I really hope he will come forward in the future. I also have a north node in Scorpio and I wish this had been mentioned in this video.

Our charts sound similar! Scorpio moon 6th house conjunct Neptune, with Mercury and Venus in Libra. Pluto is also on top of my Virgo sun, as if I didnt like to dig deep enough with my Scorpio placements!

Most astrologers I have consulted in the past have said that I am basically a Scorpio -I hope that's true as it's my favourite sign, all time!!! What do you think? I know Traditional astrologers don't prescribe to Pluto as being the ruler of Scorpio for a whole host of reasons. But so many folks with Pluto conjunct ASC or in the first house have many Scorpionic themes in their lives and character, without any Scorpio or 8th House placements. How is this explained by traditional astrologers? I should note I'm an intermediate level asto student, learning both modern and traditional. On another note, regarding animal symbols for signs, and how Scorpio has so many. The turtle is another old symbol I've heard for Cancer too.

Enjoying the episode, I just had to stop and push this back for later because… I have Uranus in scorpio and (transit wise) I’ve been having a lot of fun poking fun at scorpio and once Lord of the Rings came up, I couldn’t trust myself to not be all Uranus in scorpio. I used to describe Leo and scorpio as Theoden and Wormtongue just for humor. I like scorpio, I’m just going through a goofy phase. The stuff I don’t like, I have a lot of air and that was already covered on the episode. 9th house profection taurus year is still a blast, I’ll hate this year ending, I’m on generational Pluto’s so I’m glad this came up. It’s not a critiques, I actually like this astrologically and it happens sociologically also. Pluto in libra is so easy to forget about that they’ll get bulked with virgo and scorpio like a lost/silent generation and part of the Venus return is finding that some Pluto libras and actually getting vocal, this relates to what Chris likes to do by looking at differences with aversions. Aids, for example, is actually libra generation thing and there’s a humorous philosophy of Johnny Depp being afraid of chocolate milk. A movie that surfaced related to this profection year actually ties to this subject which may be the first direct movie about said libra generation that helps tie the differences by aversion plus similarity. It’s so Pluto sextile Neptune in that Gen also. But, Censor (movie). It’s very libra where it’s about the video nasty era, but also drawing lines to other modern subjects that includes what Chris was saying about conspiracy theories. Even though it’s libra, it details that cardinal to fixed to mutable in those signs. My Gen didn’t have the war on terror, but we had the Cold War where kindergartners were shown videos of a soon eminent nuclear attack with procedures to survive like hiding a desk. We also had school shootings, mass shooters, child abductions, and so on; same as scorpio. It was just dealt with differently as you’d expect. I mean, libras are shallow. We just get new friends…. (Awkward pause..) no, there’s what was described with libra about cool exterior. An astrologically interesting thing is when Pluto goes into Sagittarius, a controversial movie called Natural Born Killers is released and Oliver Stone said (which probably aligns with when Pluto entered sagg) that this parody on the media started becoming a reality with sensationally violent news. In censor, it’s how society blamed escalating violence on bad horror B movies, scorpio shows the beginning of reality tv, and this glorified horror in the form of reality becomes the entertainment. Columbine scores high ratings, so the most grotesque mass murders are pushed into the face of viewers. So you see the beginning of something cardinal air, to fixed water normalcy, to mutable fire with Jupiter expansion. The cool air quality of libra mixed with calm exterior plus the later sensationalized violence with 24/7 news just paints a picture that there was a big difference. It’s nice to see Pluto in libras start to actually make points, part of the difference is libra has .. I think it was Valens who said the malefic’s seem stronger than benefics using a metaphor about mixing paint. Libra views there as being a balance and “evil” is part of life, scorpio has a much different approach. One thing that struck me about a scorpio moon friend was how she was so fixated on “winning”, even though this is a “fall”, that type of quality exists with scorpio. It depends on what’s where, but that’s a difference with those two signs. Kirah brought up a good point which is also within the Libra episode, mars and Venus are mythological opposition “lovers”, so that philosophy where there’s something with opposites attracting with libra/aries, and scorpio/taurus. All oppositions likely have this type of quality of complimentary and incompatible. But, yeah, LotR’s joke is tame, I’ll listen to the last hour and a half a bit after scorpio season ends. I was trying to figure out what Nick meant by uranus “perverting a sign” and then scorpio season started hitting natal uranus with Venus in scorpio.. had my “oh, that? I kinda get it now.” In the 3rd, I like that fixed routine nature but I’ll either get uranus antsy or something external happens shaking it all up. 🤔 if Sagittarius is next.. my least favorite sign, and one of (one of) the most obvious signs natal. I’ll wait until after that episode to finish so I’m more “humbled”. Side note: Listening to the episode on the origins of the house system debate off and on through the week, I’ve finally come across techniques where I actually understand why anyone would use quadrants so I’m finding it SO much more informative.
I have Sun,Moon,Mercury,Venus and Pluto in Scorpio and Aquarius ascendant. And everyone talk about my eyes and the way I stare and look. My first tattoo is a Scorpio sign. I love astrology and I am so good at it. I love my solitude at all time. I need to space out and go within, I would stay at least every couple of months. I can go deep and it can take hours or days however will come out feeling all good and charged up but if I don't get that alone space due to either if I am in a relationship and my partner is always spending time with me and I keep telling him I need to be alone as I love my own time to spend and if he don't get it and keep pushing pushing then I would make his life a hell total silent treatment and become an total cold ice bitch to a point that he's begging me to what he's done for me to do or be like I am. This scorpio Rising was literally bit by a Scorpio.... It was actually a very close near death experience. I had to stay in ER for 12 hours and allow the poison to run through my body. Why? Because I got bitten by a Scorpion well entering a hot tub. And within minutes The poison ricocheted through my body. It was terrifying experience

Nice, also in shamanic traditions, few herbivore animals (bison, antelope..) gave them selves to humans so we could survive in the winter or hard times. They let their meat to be eaten, and skin to be used for cloths. I assume the Scorpio was the one who did the "dirty" job with the bull or Taurus so we could thrive. Let that be symbolically or literally.
