Hi Anshuman I really like your all videos I m from faridabad and would love join your group I m planing to buy D max but little wondering about after sales service please suggest SUV near 15 lacs for both highway drive and off roading
Yashveer Rathore, I have Continental Cross Contacts on my Fort and love them. Otherwise, Micheline Latitude Cross or Pirelli Scorpion ATR are equally competent.
99% of the cars on our roads mainly the fancy Thar's have dummy snorkels, they are just for the showoff or to look cool without knowing what it is for. For the rest of the us, it is a raised air intake for deep water wading, also helps in reduced dust intake at dusty trails.
Lol... Don't be a fanboy Mudit! It is all about traction, in that rutted obstacle MLD allowed Scorpio to carry on with good momentum while Fortuner with its open differentials front and back couldn't cross the deep rut which is easily one meter deep. BTW, I was driving the Fortuner... haha!
Mudit Mehta It was not about the driver . That obstacle required a steady throttle and and straight steering ( It was too narrow to steer ) . Infact rohit was driving his own ironman fortuner and he is the one of the most experienced drivers. And i was in the scorpio , and i am the newest !
Well even I was having steady throttle and straight steering, but it is the performance of the locker in that terrain that made the real difference. Thar with MLD would have had similar results, even in dry!
Rohit Dhanda SIR, here the bouncy suspensions amd Mld became the advantage for the scorpio, at that point three wheels were having grip and as the rut was deep, scorpio bounced at the rut and then Mld kicked it out whereas the fortuner with increased articulation tried to grip the tyres and got stuck, clearly this time a disadvantage became an advantage 😂😂
Jitmanyu Singh Shekhawat It never got scraped from the bottom , atleast in this video . Enough ground clearance. I just got rock sliders , will be shown in the coming videos, that improves the clearance even more !
