Yes it depends on how u drive however it also depends a lot of other factors like on the engine tuning, body aerodynamics, tyres, gearbox, weight of the vehicle, the speed you drive on. I have tested ScorpioN 4x4 on 800KM cruise control at 100-105Kmph on 3 Expressways in a single day and got 12kmpl only. ScorpioN 4x4 with Automatic & AT Tyres can't give more than 13kmpl if you drive at around 95-100kmph. This car is not tuned for mileage, its for the raw power.
In 4x2 variants its possible to get 12-13kmpl on mountains but not in 4x4 variants bcoz of additional weight of 4x4 system including transfer case, and also bcoz 4x4 variant only runs in Zoom mode by default (it doesn't have any drive modes).
Long route per Meri fortuner 22 model, 90-100 speed me 15+ ka milage de deti h.. agar rough 100+ chalta hu to 12.5 kmpl + rahta h.. fortuner fortuner h
Fortuner is a segment above ScorpioN. There is no comparison at all despite Mahindra calling it Big Daddy. Fortuner ki range 800-900km hai easily ye 600km mein khatam ho leti hai. Plus the main thing Fortuner offers which no one else can is RELIABILITY. ScorpioN is better only in 1 aspect which is comfort bcoz of its fantastic suspension.
600 km range highway pe thik hai....but pahad me 500km ho jayegi.... extreme pahad me 450 km ho jayegi.....pata nahi Mahindra ne sab tanki choti kar di.xuv 500 me 70 ltrs ka tank hai.....lol
4x4 Automatic variant ? The maximum I have got till date is 13kmpl on my 1st roadtrip after 2days of delivery. Reason bcoz I hardly touched 100kmph on that trip. Otherwise even on expressways of 800km I have got 12.5kmpl only.
