My 71st birthday is tomorrow. 😀 I spent 13 months with all the processing and the suffering. I spent 9 months with the actual interaction...or lack of reciprocation. 9 months is my gestation period.....3 of Pentacles. NOT a waste of time/for nothing as I am much more defined as a wonderful/powerful me. I feel that that situation woke my heart up (after 20+ yrs of hiding out from love) and I am grateful for this experience and to him......But I feel that I have dodged a big bullet. That ten of wands, there did come a time when I knew I couldn't put more into the connection, but it didn't drain me so much as blasted my heart chakra open. He is infinitely deserving of love, but not open to it because of his own devil and that's something he has to work on in his own time and own way. Our connection has put a spotlight on it for him. I was just realizing I'd had a breakthrough about the toxic relationship I ended in October. He was a bastard, but I still sometimes miss the stupid, sweet little moments we occasionally had together. I mean I stuck around that long for *some* reason, right? Well last week I found myself feeling those painful things ("I don't want to feel anything positive toward him. I hate him for what he did to mw,") and I found myself wondering how *he* feels about the sweet moments we used to share. Maybe he misses them too. Maybe they make him realize what he lost with me. Maybe he tries to recreate them with his new wife, and how does that go exactly? Yes, he's remarried already. I had the thought that maybe he's the one who's missing me. And in that moment, it felt as if the stupid little "spell" he cast over me was finally lifted. It's funny, you drew a time card that said spring... "Spring" means "run" in Swedish. My ex was Swedish, and yes, I ran the heck out of there!! And yes, I'm thriving more and more every day now. I no longer have to waste my life listening to his complaints and accusations. My life is finally my own.

Once again, you are directly speaking to my heart and my mind. He and I had been doing this dance for going on 4 years. I wanted more, he wasn't capable to give me more. It came down to me telling him I was thinking of breaking it off. Then he suggested that we take a break. So during this break, I saw things for what they were and not what I wanted things to be. Hahahaaaaaa watching this now for the first time. My birthday was on the 9th. I had a dream that I only remember feeling like something was about to end. I've said it before, I'll say it again. YOUR READ woke me up at or near October 16th. That's the date I use as the end of my 6 month relationship of deep affe tion and love. The 10 month break up ended after YOUR READING. I wish her the best, she wishes me the best - it ended messy, but not ugly. More than enough time has passed to reflect on lessons learned.
