Claiming this. Decades in the making. Five years of back and forth; here, then gone, followed by 14 years of no contact. Now, a year into reconciliation and rebuilding. All those years I blamed him (and for what it's worth, so did he), but once I started to take an honest look at what I had brought into our space, things started to just fall into place. There is still work to be done, but I'm no longer doing it alone.

This feels like a past/present reading for me. The past person died in October so I'll never have that again. He was a big lesson in borders and boundaries and what I will no longer tolerate. My new person is the opposite of anyone I've ever dated, and I have to thank the past for teaching me that I deserve better. He was in a very toxic marriage and we're both learning how to express ourselves and know that it's safe to do so. This is the most healthy and adult relationship I've ever been in. Venus in Scorpio. I may be imposing my own interpretation on things here (rather than forcing things to fit). I can tell you exactly what sits behind my quietness in recent months - today marks the first anniversary of my wife's passing. I'm coming out of things now, and realising that I have to move forward. I have been overinvesting energy in a new connection. The investment gave little (but not nothing) and I have now pulled back to re-evaluate what the f**k was I thinking. To the original person's comment, my heart goes out to you! I understand completely what you are experiencing. Our 4 kids and I watched their father/my husband get killed and take his last breath in front of us! 15 years married and 4 beautiful children! I wish I could of had 40 years with him! Try to understand it is a process and you won't get over it. You will just learn to live with the understanding of how much you loved her and the understanding that a part of your heart will be broke, but that doesn't mean you can't or don't want love again and that's OK! Take it one second to one minute to one hour to one day at a time! You got this! It will not be easy as you already know! Just keep pushing and going forward!

Spot on. I am a Scorpio Moon and he is a Scorpio Sun. We met thru friends while he was visiting a friend in my city in Dallas, Tx at the time, both in our 20’s then and we’ve kept in touch somewhat randomly over the years but now both being in our 40’s, I have the urge to reunite with him again after 17 years although he lives in MI but last summer after briefly speaking with him on the phone it just hit me outta nowhere that maybe he’s the one? Sassy pulling out some oldies but goodies with the song drops and yes Against All Odds is from Phil Collins. Those are two of my many favorite songs from that decade. You said " if you spent a year waiting then it will take you 6 months to heal" Does that mean it would take a person 15 years to heal from waiting 30 years? That's a total of 45 years. that's a long time to wait to get married to your best friend and soul bond. Also, some soul bonds equate to life lessons. For me this resonates as a pattern, and the truth that finding eternal union will always be worth trying again. Scorpio sun. If this is about who I think it's about, I never really felt disgusted about it. Just heartbroken, gradually turning into just a pain in the heart at the thought of him. I'm willing to hear him out, but I don't know if I could ever have that level of love and trust for him again. I do still care about him. We knew each other in elementary, and were on and off for several years. I guess time will tell. According to a psychic I had spoken with previously, we definitely have a soul bond. I feel like I’m not really waiting but still open. I’ve been single 6 years and within that time have only been attracted to a couple people. It just doesnt really happen for me, so that’s one reason I’m still open towards who I think of. I will remain open to others but won’t expect myself to feel attracted or desire anyone. I keep being rejected on the one thing that I can’t change. My age. They’re willing to give up the deep connection and love. They tell me they love me. But too bad I’m not 22. I think I look good for 40. At 22 I wasn’t the person I am now. I couldn’t have children. But after a major life change. I can have kids. If my age stops them. The craziest passion and chemistry I've ever experienced, but the walls were too high and I never got in. She's all I can think about, but it never got there, never got deep enough and though we were together, it felt like a constant rejection.
